I did. I do not think he has been on here for a few days. Still waiting to hear. But the bottom line is I am not looking for a special favor. I am looking for them to get it together and follow their own rules. They have a big problem that requires someone to step up and fix. I can't imagine a CEO having to deal with issues like this. He needs to figure out who dropped the ball and at minimum train them better or at worst hire someone new he can depend on.

you can see last activity date on the public profiles, his was the 26th. I was just wondering because I had a bit of a fit and pm'd him about something else and he was cool and if I were in your shoes I'd think that was the better route to go, at least initially. I guess it's up to you if you want to try and change the world or just worry about your own account and credits, I do see your points in some areas but I think it might be a very futile effort the way you're going about it. It's not about "favors" that's what reps are for is to help solve problems like this but after filing complaints with the feds that puts you at a disadvantage with dealing with sites directly. In fact they may just close your account and never talk to you again, that's what at least 1 other US facing site dose at least but none are regulated how GP is.

I contacted customer service dozens of times, I posted here at least a few. No one was interested in helping. If they want to close my account because I am trying to get assistance when they will provide none that is fine but I am sure that it will be considered as part of a pattern of behavior. As far as it being a futile effort, doing the right things in life can often seem that way especially in the corrupt times we are living in. Some things are more important than the easy road.

If you need more evidence that Global Poker is a grossly unscrupulous operation, merely revisit its handling of the transition from Paypal to Worldpay withdrawals.

I am going on 8 weeks with no credit ot correspondence from Global Poker. I sent PM to David Lyons and have not received a reply. As stated in previous posts, customer service is inconsistent and poor. I think it's a really bad look for Global considering that their entire business is predicated on this "Sweepstakes" model. Very disappointing

I'd encourage anyone who has been wronged by Global Poker in this way make a formal complaint with the FTC.

yeah great idea.. how about instead maybe somebody tweet at David Lyons and hope for a faster reply and to get this handled internally as opposed to blowing up the whole op? I'd tweet at him myself but I don't have an acct. I agree there should be a more active rep for the site avail in this subforum, i know that it's not cheap for GP to have one on 2+2 i'd like to think that they'd use it for it's intended purpose.

I’m looking into why some batches seem to be delayed. We’ve made plenty of credits in the last few weeks so not sure what’s happened here. I’m travelling so won’t be able to reply on thread till mid next week.

@ David Lyons - This is part of what I was talking about in the pm I sent, the comm remembers, it's a tall order you've got to acquire trust and this kind of thing is why people are so quick to report to the feds I feel, as opposed to the current state of the world.
I/we appreciate the 1st part but the bolded part is exactly the problem and again i mentioned it in the pm i sent. IIRC it was GP-JOEY that told us s cpl years ago that he couldn't reply for a cpl/few weeks since he just had a kid. He was a good guy and we all liked him and were happy for him being a father but that kinda thing isn't very professional and left the comm hanging. And this was for non free sweeps cash issues, real ones with real money and deposits and game function problems and we were put aside till the rep was able to work when his newborn grew up a little bit.

I just started playing here after a self ban from 2 years ago and so far actually am enjoying it. They’ve been super fast w payouts (gift cards) but support has been slow answering emails.

somebody claimed he made 80k from envelopes in 18 months before the insert card with a paragraph handwritten was added as a req. A lot of people hopped on the bandwagon after seeing that thread and after the cards was required as of 5/29/20, most got paid myself included but some didnt apparently, GP has a bad reputation for how they've treated the players over the years and at least 1 dude decided to report it to the feds for a violation of sweeps laws. When the card was added as a req the wording was very unclear and almost impossible to correctly discern and execute hence the change on 7/29/20 imo.

I’m not too familiar with the “sweeps” loopholes. All I know is I deposited via debit cards and they have been issuing payments.

haha im a bit tipsy too atm i hear ya, sorry for not making a more clear cliffs notes for ya. U have no reason to be worried if ur depositing and playing with real cash, only people worried are those that sent in envelopes and haven't been credited yet. IMO your $ is as safe or safer than any other USA facing sites and they will pay you.

the one from 5/29 when they added the req for cards to be inserted has been recently removed I was about to link that one too, i didnt take screen shots but I will of this one for my personal records.

Taking a look at the new rules, I noticed that they added an S at the end of the first paragraph so now it reads promotionS. Seems really petty and possibly shady if they disqualify people for this sneaky change, but things don't look good ATM.

I'm not following can u post a screenshot or more specifics? I just checked the updated sweeps rules and the paragraph looks exactly the same to me as the previous version, and i don't see any sneakily added capital S at the end?

You now have to write sweepstakes promotions, before it was sweepstakes promotion.

Or maybe they can comply with the federal rules in which they're operating, like every other legitimate business in the world.

They'd added the "unlined" text to the 2.6 rules now, so that rules out the lined index cards.
