Office Depot sells them by 300. 4 X 6. Index Cards. Blank.

If you read my other replies in this thread above, you will see that I had been credited within three weeks of mailing them out.

So, just to see if it was a fluke, and since people here were having issues, I decided to try again.

I followed the same procedure as before to see if my timeline was a fluke.

4 X 6 index cards. No lines.

Wrote the paragraph as neatly as I could.

Used #10 Envelopes.

Followed the instructions.

And exactly three weeks later from the date I sent them in, which was last night, I was credited.

So this process works as advertised - twice in a row.

Pretty legit to me.

Re: Sweeps Cash Mail-in

Was just credited for every single envelope except for a batch I sent last week. Some were lined (won't be using these anymore per the updated rules), some were paper, some were blank post cards. Thank you David Lyons for your help!

I also just got a bunch of credits.

They're real, and they're spectacular!

Sounds like you got neater handwriting and better spelling and punctuation than all of the complainers.

I hear you. I hated typing that, but sometimes Im just simply AFK.

Also I know that the process for collating, scanning, checking, account confirmation, and then crediting is a little knotty, so knew it was *possible* that either (a) thered be no answer or (b) Id not have it... so I avoid making commitments I cannot be pretty sure I can honour.

One of my senior colleagues took this on in my absence and ensured that the delayed batch was identified and - where possible - credited. It seems based on the subsequent posts this is the case.

It has been 2 months and I havent received any credits. I also have yet to receive a reply from customer support emails and/or messages to your PM and Twitter account. I sent in 4 envelopes. How difficult can this really be if this is your self-admitted business model?

Re: Sweeps Cash Mail-in

I just got cashed for an insane amount of envelopes, took about a month and a half. How does rollover work for this? It says standard 1x, does that mean you just bet it once and you're done? or do you have to essentially double up? Is there a way to track rollover? Thanks for any replies

Re: Sweeps Cash Mail-in

A lot of the people in this thread bitching that they havent gotten creditsw assuredly didnt follow the rules precisely or did something that disqualified their entries and didnt realize it.

Theres been 4 pay outs since Mid June, this morning was one of them.

The only thing I do and have ever disagreed with on the sweeps entries is the two sentence paragraph agreeing to terms were already agreeing to. Everything else Global does is PERFECT. They pay out fast, games are soft and well, envelopes. Miss me on that paragraph and thats whats up. The people saying theyre not paying etc etc are just morons imo. learn how to spell.

I had envelopes form six weeks ago that were just credited last night. I know it might be shocking, but sometimes the experiences of others might be different from your own.

Re: Sweeps Cash Mail-in

I would put my penmanship against anyone else that is sending in entries. I have been waiting 8 weeks and both customer support and David Lyons will not even address my issue. Just tell me to wait longer or flat out ignore my concern altogether. So while you may get your credit promptly and without any hitches, please realize that individual mileage may vary and the fact that others have waited an unusually long time to receive credit just shows that Global Poker's business model is flawed at best. Not saying it won't improve, but it currently leaves much to be desired in regards to the Sweeps process and customer support in general.

8 weeks for me too, but they said that "upon checking" that they do not have any of my entries. They did credit my account with 25% of what I sent, so at least that covers the cost of the stamps and shows goodwill on their part. I will try to get some sort of delivery confirmation from the USPS on future mailings and/or hope this was a one-time error. I'm satisfied with how Global handled my case. Now off to work on my penmanship

I sent 200 envelopes 8 weeks ago with no real response from Global. One of the envelopes was returned to me 3.5 weeks ago because I messed up the zipcode on the front. So I know they received the others. I used 4x6 blank cards and did everything right. Still waiting for answers.

4 payouts since mid-June? Wow... Global has never processed my envelopes this quickly.

Global, you gotta do your cooking by the book!

Haha thanks I understand what you mean, and it's better to undersell and over deliver as opposed to the opposite.

We appreciate you having somebody else take it on in your absence that's a definite improvement! Things seem to be getting better for sure!

I've wondered how the rollover works as well. I just sent my first ever batch last week. Also is there a cap to how many you can send in?

If you read the sweeps rules, it says that Sweeps Coins that have been won through game play rather than collected through purchasing or mail in or daily check in can be redeemed. So that just means that you have to play it once i'm assuming since that means you win the SC from the game as opposed to just having purchased or getting it from the mail in credits. What I don't understand is, does this mean that you just have to wager say 100 SC all in on a hand and boom its rolled over since you technically one 100 + pot ? or does that mean you have to actually WIN double your SC in order to cash out, ie if there was 10$ in that pot and you shove for 100 , does that mean you win only 10 $ rollover as opposed to 110?

Regardless, I'm really glad Global is such a great site with speedy pay out and multiple ways to enter , I say this as someone who's been a frequent depositor for years and now finding out about the mail in

Let's read the sweeps rules again.....

Quote:
Unless Sponsor/Promoter requires otherwise, any Sweeps Coins allocated to a Participant are required to be played once before they are eligible to be redeemed for prizes. Sponsor/Promoter may, in its sole discretion, require that any sweeps Coins allocated to a Participant must be played a greater number of times (not exceeding 20) in any combination of Sweeps Coins games before they are eligible to be redeemed for prizes.
So maybe 1x playthrough, or maybe 20x....

Let's say its 1x and you get SC110, somehow, and then you play 10 SC11 SNG's and you've risked SC110, so you would get to redeem what you win. You will have also paid SC10 in rake.

If you play cash tables, every time you bet, including blinds, is a risk you took even if everyone folds to you. So as soon as you've bet SC110 you get to redeem what you win back. Since the rake on the cash tables is 5% but with a cap, you will pay up to SC5.50 in rake.

But if it's 20x then you would need to play 200 SC11 SNG's. And you would pay SC200 in rake. And on cash tables its the same. You could pay up to SC110 in rake. You're basically paying back all of it and more if you play tournaments.

I doubt they do 20x on anyone. People would notice and you'd hear a lot more about people not being able to cash out. But the terms do allow them to just completely screw everyone. It would just be very bad for their business and VGW holdings stockholders.

Me too. I'm just saying as with any other offshore site available to US players you just have to trust them. They are all competing for our business.
