More than twice as much IMO. The contents of the "request" card (still unsure exactly what card/paper they're looking for there) is more than what goes on the front of the envelope. I don't think many will grind it like people are worried about, it's quite miserable tbh. Wish I wasn't so late to the party and had sent some before the inserts.

I've played GP since 2017 and have sent a handful of envelopes here and there, to gather about 100 or so in SC in total over that whole time.

The envelope grinders who obviously have raked in many thousands sending dozens of envelopes a day (pre request card era) have ruined it for everybody. The new requirements are pretty ridiculous but you can't blame GP for trying to curb it somewhat.

I read that Global makes hundreds of millions every quarter, and that they've given away 50M in free sweeps. If that's true, envelopes aren't hurting them much, they're still rollin' in dough.

I decided to try sending in some envelopes but it's been several weeks coming up on 2 months I believe. I am just wondering what the usual turn around time is for it? I sent in 15 for 75 bucks to try it out. Maybe just a big delay from massive workloads I dont know, just wondering if theres any update? I sent them fairly early in may. Thanks in advance my great friends!

only if you didnt write out the entire address or clearly enough where they can read it. ony way they come back, or if you forget a stamp or something.

I've been playing on global for a while, decided to send in 20 envelopes on the first week of June and so far haven't heard anything back. You guys put your name in the return address (I didn't see anything about it on the Sweeps Rules)? Because I didn't and I don't know if thats one of the reasons they haven't gotten back to me

On another note, I think the reason why global started adding in those request cards is to make it such a chore, the average person can only write about 40 words a minute neatly and thus having to do the envelope + the request card makes it a few min per envelope. still worth it IMO , but I wish I would've known about this mail in stuff years back when I played on ignition/ACR

Yeah, I sent a few in, and only 1 came back. It was exactly the same as the others.

It clearly says on the rules to hand write your return address on the envelope. Learn to read.

Yes I know it said handwrite return address, i meant do you guys put your name above the return address?

The guy was asking about the name. And you tell him he needs to learn to read. Classic.

There is not requirement about your name in the rules. Only your return address. If they declined because of that they would be breaking their own TOS.

Still wondering have any of you gotten credited for the envelopes sent in the past month or two? Again this is the first time attempting it and I have not had any returned back to me just waiting for a long time over a month now. Thank you all in advance.

Not a big envelope grinder, but it has taken a month or longer for me sometimes. Be patient.

Sent in 5 envelopes plus inserts June 8th and have heard nothing back

Sent 20 on June 11th, and have not received anything. Sent with plain white 4x6 index cards as "request" card. Waiting to see what happens with these before mailing anything further, as the interpretation of an index card being an acceptable "request" card is still unclear, as I have been told by 2 reps that they are valid, but 1 said they are not, so I'm just gonna wait and see.

I just cut pieces of paper evenly the size of an index card to write on. Did I mess up?

If the paper is 4x6 it works. If it's on an index card and has all the required info, it is good. The only reason I am commenting is because I probably sent in my first mail-in back in 2017, and since then I've always received my sweeps. Maybe just 20-25 envelopes total in 3 years, but I've always received them, and sometimes it takes a while.
