Lots of times when I am playing on Global Poker the software will glitch out. For example 5-10 minutes before the start of the hour it will glitch and everything will freeze. I have also noticed that I get an error "Trying to reconnect..." when I am in the middle of a big hand... Netflix and Hulu go down too which makes me think Global Poker could be giving your IP address to everyone at the table like what used to happen in Halo video games. Like whoever You are in a hand with will attack your IP address with bots to make you run out of time and fold. It has happened a few times when I had a really good hand like 2 aces or something. Another issue with the software is I cannot download it to my phone. I know I can go to the website but I don't like using the web browser I prefer apps. So there could be an app for download that might not have the same software glitches I experience on my Macbook. Of course it is not the newest Macbook out there but it works and I don't think it's the cause of the glitches. I have never had it inspected by any computer professional or anything but it has given me no troubles so far and other programs like Microsoft Word work perfectly without any glitches. Other people have reported glitches to me at the tables too. One time someone at the table complained that his screen randomly went black and he had to refresh the page. Luckily he was not involved in the hand at the time.

Have you ruled out the simple explanation - that you in fact lost connection to the internet?

Wouldn't you also be receiving everyone else's IP if that were the case?
