Six month suspension for using Stack And Tile (# 9488160) Six month suspension for using Stack And Tile (# 9488160)

I was notified yesterday that my account was flagged but they didn't tell me why. They asked what my setup was and I answered honestly. I used Stack And Tile while playing on a couple of different sites to tile the tables, and through that software I have one hotkey which allows me to press the fold button. For this I got a minimum 6 month suspension. Reading the terms of service I wasn't aware that using software which didn't aid in decision making was against the rules. Had I known that, I wouldn't have used it. If anyone at Global can help me out I'd really appreciate it.

It appears to be that way. I'm probably a dumbass for thinking that the language of the rule was limited to HUDs, RTA and bots, but that's how I honestly interpreted it. See you in January.

Lets be clear here as the thread title is incorrect.

You got 6 months suspension for using hotkey software, not for stack and tile.

May i ask how many tables you would play at a time? I've have noticed that they have banned some regulars that seemed to play more then 6 tables at a time around that July 4th date. Regs that appear to be playing 6 or less have been safe. I believe that they cannot detect Hotkeys and banned you simply for playing a lot. I noticed that you and a few others that played a lot of tables at a time were missing before seeing this post.

Most have been getting permanent bans. Your lucky to only getting 6 months. This was likely due to admitting what you were doing.

Yeah, I do consider myself lucky. I did play 8-10 for a while at low stakes sng's, but I was moving more toward playing MTT's where on Global I was probably playing 4-6 lately. Assuming I can come back in January, I'll likely just play MTT's and play a couple other sites so that shouldn't be a problem. I'll definitely look around the forums to see if others got suspended or banned during that time.

Thanks

Why would GP be unhappy someone is playing a lot?
