Time and pain from the 3+ hours it has been trying to email them back and forth trying to get my money back, making accounts on forums, posting etc, along with not being able to use that money and that i was a big stack in both tournaments.
I looked it up and i see often that 3rd theft is filed as a felony, the first two being misdemeanors, so 1498 possible felonies is indeed much worse than murder with a possible minimum sentence of 1498 years.
Hi, milesaway0. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I'm as poor as a churchmouse, and $51 is a lot of money to me.
My point was that, given the tenuous nature of online poker in America, it probably isn't prudent to have so much money on a poker site that losing it all would cause financial hardship.
I have a little bit over $100 on Global, and I operate under the assumption that I might wake up tomorrow morning, and find that the DOJ has shut down Global (Black Friday II).
I wouldn't be happy losing the $100+, but it wouldn't cause me pain and suffering either. Just saying, I don't recommend having money on a poker site that you can't afford to lose.
Hope you and others get all their money back.
Hope you run good at the tables!
