rake races now on global? rake races now on global?

I really hope if they do it again stakes matter. It's pretty dumb that ssnl only get anything if they are some of the highest volume players on the site and it's actually impossible for msnl players to get any rakeback.

Still, it was kinda fun challenge.

For a site that supposedly says it's trying to cater to the recreational players this is dumb. I think this is the same reason they put jaredpoker on a 20x, they are just trying to maximize profits, which I don't have an issue with it's a business and I understand that. They are screwing regs and recs at the same time, the only winner here is a small amount of regs who are willing to grind there balls off (which I respect) and global.

Like I said, I have no issue with the regs grinding and putting in the hours and getting rewarded for it, I think that is perfectly fine. I think and this is just my personal opinion and it could very well be wrong, but why not have the rake race where it only counts for games 200NL+, instead of allowing regs to drop down in stakes and just obliterating the fish/recs.

Also, create an insentive/reward for recs, recs tend to love tourneys. We already have the daily and weekly bonanza. Create another tourney that runs once a week that is a 10K GTD where you have to see 1.5K flops in a week. This should not make the games more reggier considering that regs are going to see 1.5K flops without altering there volume anyways. Recs have day jobs and 1.5K in a week is doable for them, encourage them to put in more volume where they also get rewarded, instead of just making rake races that screw them over.

We can still have the rake race but only allow it to count at the higher stakes, 200NL+ only counts towards the leaderboard. There is no reason for great regs that have the BR to be grinding 20NL, and if those regs still want to grind 20NL that is percectly fine but do not allow it to count towards the rake race. Also, lower the rake at the highest stakes during the rake race so regs will actually be willing to battle it out.

Both of the above IMO would be good for the recs at the lower stakes, + being great for the good regs, decent regs might get smashed, but at the higher stakes that's the way it should be during the rake race. The rake race should be a competition for regs, and the better regs should comeout on top.

Yeah agreeing with everything Matt said.

Now I'm suspecting there is no more Ring Leader leaderboard.

I have a daily and weekly Ring Leader leaderboard place in my profile under Leaderboards but not Profile, and these leaderboard places are the same as they were like 18 hours ago with me not playing in the meantime, so I don't find it likely to be active.

Pretty sure they are done, I have been playing a bit of volume today and have not moved in the current leaderboard, Still showing 0 points

I was asked to take a survey via email about my opinion on the promotion. I gave it terrible ratings. (I didn't play at all during that 2 weeks due to reg infestation).
