rake races now on global? - Page 4 - Global Poker -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I won the daily leader board yesterday 5 tabling for 7 hours... ended up +$600 on the day. I took 4th on Wednesday 5 tabling for 6 hours.... I broke even. You do not have to grind 15 tables all day to get to the top of the leader board.

yeah I didn't even know this was a thing, was just playing casually and looks like I'll finish top 30 for the week, got top 20 yesterday for daily not even playing that much. I wonder if weekends are going to be tougher though since everyone has more time to be online

But yeah I've been doing like 9 tables and ive been in the mix on rankings

people are really punting stacks.

that said I ran awful today

I was wondering the same thing. I assume they just insta add it to the cashier? I'm always playing each night when the clock ticks over so I never know what I got.

Also next week guys I'm going full throttle. Gonna try for top ten.

If you got to the three bars menu in the top left, click on transactions, and do credits at 0:00 you will see "Manual Adjustment"

Hypocrisy 101. Accused me of colluding because I stayed online 90% of the last 5 days grinding. Low and behold get online and see table after table of 65roses , z00t , and Vulpix suttely flipping. Suppose nothing wrong with that since you seemed to think one bad call in a hand involving me was cheating. lol Good stuff fella’s

omfg guys, that was brutal today.

i dont want to out my name but I went deep. Still, no matter what I did, I didn't crack top 5.

Prob didn't help I ran awful to start the day.

There was one guy toward the end though that basically got 1000bbs in like 30 minutes... ... how.

Finally managed to finish top 10 after running like crap. not nearly as satisfying as i thought it would be. It was much softer and better when this leaderboard wasn't in play.

Rake races are cash game promotions. Upper left 3 lines button (i know theres a name for this just can't think of it) then leaderboards. It's right there.

When does the rake race end? Feel bad for the recs and normal low stakes players as it has absolutely ruined their games. They can't possibly hope to beat the people moving down to grind .10/.20 through 1/2 and can't possible hope to get on the leaderboard. Low stakes grinders who decided to play even more tables but don't hit the leaderboard probably just lose even more to rake.

All this on top of industry leading rake and I might be taking a break until the promotion is done.

It's not a rake race, it's about winning pots. People aren't colluding, they playing too many tables and peddling nuts.

Y'all are correct that it sucks for the fish, but poker always will suck for the fish

This rake race is a terrible idea. No recs can win the race. It is better to give the money to people who lose a lot or splash pot.

Yeah I'm also on the new daily/weekly leaderboards ending the 22nd and 28th; has me wondering.

I think I wouldn't mind this being a new constant on Global, as it's seemed pretty easy to cash the weekly. Any de facto rakeback that doesn't require me to play a relatively low-value tournament is welcome.
