Rake is 5% uncapped? Rake is 5% uncapped?

Global, Can we discuss this uncapped rake? It seems a little much. An uncapped lower percentage or capping the 5% at 3BB would be more player friendly.
Can you justify why the rake is uncapped?Especially with the software and game play still so buggy.

It appears to be capped. I just saw a $92.48 pot that raked $3 and awarded $89.48. Uncapped would have raked $4.62.

I'm working from the official answer in the general questions thread which doesn't mention a cap and table talk.

The rake structure should be available on the website for all to see.

Our rake is 5% capped at $3.

3$ at all stakes doesnt make much sense tho tbf

That's why it seemed like uncapped rake to smaller stakes games but larger stakes saw the cap.

Not sure about this, I looked at 50PLO as I figured that would get a big pot the fastest to test for the cap.

Hi guys

We have a 5% max $3 capped rake. 100 % guaranteed, I implemented this myself an decided we should be in line with the rest of the industry. If any of you feel that this is not the case then please send m e screenshot of whatever else you can show me that this is not the case. It set to 5% capped.

Thanks

Thanks for clearing it up. I was told several times at the tables it was uncapped.
Please post the rake structure as there is widespread misunderstanding.
This seems in line with ignition's rake https://www.ignitioncasino.eu/poker/...ted/poker-rake

A $3 cap across the board isn't in line with Ignition. At 200nl that's a couple blinds, at 2nl it's buy ins.

Ignition charges a max of $2 rake in 5nl (their smallest stakes), slightly cheaper.
They charge a max of $4 rake above 25nl, slightly more.
I can see $3 max for all games as similar to ignition.

OK, agreed it's similar for full ring tables. I still think improvements could be made.

Agreed, especially since we are the beta players willing to use the site while they work out the bugs.

Lowering the cap on their low stakes isn't going to make a difference tbh.

For example if they cap their 4NL games at $2 similar to what ignition does, you won't see any impact or difference. At 5% the cap would be reached at $40, so at 4NL you're talking about this only making a difference in pots bigger than 1000 BB's. It will still be exceedingly rare to reach the cap. Even a $1 cap at this stake won't be reached often, 500+ BB pots are rare.

I had a 1/2 NL hand take a $4 rake last night, the site link says the max is a $3 rake. Can global look into this?
