Of course I believe there are people here who support the site and post here who aren't employees of Global. I just don't think splayaa is one of them...he's clearly a shill associated with the site.
Which brings me to the larger point, and ( beyond just the satisfaction of annoying spayaa and taking up his time) why I've posted here....
The Global Cashout process, either by design or by a lack of attention is lousy.
* The idea that they can instantaneously accept your deposit but have a cumbersome process for returning the funds in the same way is annoying, but post black friday, not unexpected. I could live with that.
* The egregious part is the validation process. The " your documentation wasn't clear enough" excuse is rote. No matter what you send the first time, some version of that is the auto response that you get.
* And in my personal experience, I went through that process. Got validated...and then customer support attempted to send me back through that process again. It was only when I was vocal here did I get a response.
* and for the person who said I got my money after a couple days...that isn't true. From the time I submitted my request to the time I got my money was, I believe, 9 days...and about 17 emails. That's ridiculous.
Which brings up back to this forum....splayaa joined shortly after Global started. All his posts are about Global, and all in unyielding support of the site without criticism. At last one of the guys he goes back and forth with is also a new member, with the same m.o.
As much as my trolling here might be disruptive, I find it disingenuous and a disservice to the 2+2 community to have ( paid ?) shills in here encouraging member to join a site with promises and assurances, when the site clearly has issues that need to be addressed.
I'm still playing on Global. I'm tickled that I got some of my winnings out...I've been playing poker online ( and a member of this community under a different name) since 2003 ( forum Join Date: 08-17-2005 ) and with the losses I experienced with Full Tilt/Black Friday have come to expect that any money you put in is for entertainment - and unlikely to get out...so hurrah for Global for doing what they said they were going to do....eventually. And my hope is that they'll continue to improve their customer support and that my next transaction goes smoothly.
But yeah, in the meantime I'm likely to call bulls**t on anyone acting as if we're back to the days of Neteller and Party.

If you're going to continue to just spam nonsense or make backhanded comments, please do it in a different thread. The cash out/account verification thread is the most important thread in any poker site subforum, and should really only be used for concerns about withdrawals/purchases.
