Ticket #3100585

I have exhausted every other option and now have to post this here. I have submitted a withdrawal request to Global and they absolutely refuse to verify my account.

They've received:

1) Their extremely intrusive bank form filled out.
2) My driver's license, front and back.
3) My most recent bank statement.
4) My correct routing # to my bank account.

Needless to say, this is even more than is required to verify with Global. The last response was from "Billy" who insisted that they would love to make the payout but they need "additional information". They have, repeatedly, received everything they ask for and more from me and still absolutely refuse to verify my account and at this point have stopped responding to my emails entirely. In other words, they just totally stole my money.

Can someone please address this?

req'd 5/22
rec'd 5/29
had to re verify an expired dl so that took an extra day, I forgot to do it before submitting the payout. Monday was banking holiday so all in all pretty quick. Was to a card that's been verified and rec'd a payout before.

Sorry, can you send me a private message with your username and the date of the said transaction? Thanks.

And can you please look into my situation, as well? To this minute, they've still never gotten back to me. Naturally, I'm quite displeased with this whole process.

Hi, welcome to the 2+2 Global Poker forums. As I have checked, you still need to send us a photo of you holding your id. Also, though you did send us a bank statement, we're still waiting for you to send us a copy that shows both your BANK NAME as well as your COMPLETE ADDRESS.

Anyone who requests a prize redemption regardless of the amount is required to have their account completely verified. Sadly, your 20 plus emails as well as the threads you started on various poker forums won't change our verification process anytime soon.

Thank you and do let me know as soon as you finally decide to send the documents we requested so I can ask someone from our CS Team to review it right away.

Maybe someone can actually read the 20 plus emails and acknowledge that I have repeatedly told them that my bank statements don't show my address on them. They put those on the envelopes. How can I show you a picture of something that doesn't exist? What do you want me to do, go to the bank and ask them to create a special bank statement for me for your purposes? Don't you think that's a little too much to ask for?

Further, a driver's license was never even asked for. I provided this for the very reason that my bank statement doesn't show my address on it and was told this would be sufficient. Now not only do I have to show the driver's license, but a picture of me holding it next to my face?

Please keep in mind that no other poker room asks for any of this anymore. I have gone above and beyond jumping through your hoops and you just stopped responding to my emails. You said this was all necessary to be in compliance with the KYC (Know Your Customer) laws and yet we both know that KYC doesn't require photos of people holding their license next to their face.

I have every right to post on poker forums so that others know what they're getting into. Playing on your site, as well as trying to withdraw, has been the most negative experience I've had in several years of playing online poker.

I listed what you've already received from me and no reasonable person could say that's not enough. Lastly, if all of this is for my security and you following the letter of the law, why didn't you ask for any of this when I made deposits on your site?

Online bank statements have your name and address name on them.

It's ok. I called the bank and explained the situation so they have a more detailed bank statement for me to pick up later that shows what Global demands. I just think this is all totally unnecessary, overly picky, and I know it's way beyond what any other poker room asks for.

They keep saying it's to keep in line with their "legal obligation" but I deal with KYC all the time in my own business and nobody requests photos of people holding their ID next to the face, special bank statements that show addresses on them, and then also special form letters filled out with every personal detail under the sun. At least I'll get this over with soon now, get my money, and never play another hand on here. Terrible site, terrible experience.

did you get paid or are you still waiting?

FWIW, crypto sites often request the same pics, holding license, they even want a picture if the back that has no info on it. Face pic, front and back of official ID, and clear pic holding it. Evidently, it's for facial recognition software to complete the verification.

I did their ridiculous photo ID process (long, intrusive, drawn out) and then sent an email to the "team lead" who emailed me earlier asking her to confirm receipt of this. Haven't received a response yet. Seems like Lock Poker where they deliberately held up verifications because they couldn't cover all current payouts.

Just so you know I'm not being unreasonable but they are, here's what they've received:

1) My valid US driver's license, front and back.

2) My social security #.

3) My most recent bank statement showing my name and even a Global Poker transaction on it.

4) Their offensively long and intrusive "bank form" filled out in completion. Name, address, bank account # and wire # included.

5) A photo of me today with again the front and back of my DL attached.

We're not done yet? This is why there's "20 emails" and "sadly" nothing is done yet. They are deliberately holding this up and I believe my posts prove that.

I've linked this thread, and my most recent posts, to them and they just don't respond. If you value your time and money, do NOT deposit here.

I suggest the rest of you request payouts asap. They clearly don't have the funds, and that needs to be exposed.
05-30-2019 , 05:12 PM
Still nothing. Waiting....
05-30-2019 , 05:21 PM
And waiting more. NO response.
05-30-2019 , 05:38 PM
Yeah, even when provided with the additional steps they asked for, they stopped responding entirely again. They don't have the money. DO NOT DEPOSIT HERE!

Because, after 35 emails, I used the word "bull****", this is the only response they've given:

Hello Joseph,

Thank you for contacting the Global Poker Customer Service Team.

We are unable to provide you with any assistance due to the offensive language used in your message.

Please send us your concern in an appropriate manner and we will attempt to resolve any outstanding issues in a prompt manner.

Have a pleasant day.

Kind regards,

Global Poker Customer Service Team

So, it's take your money and then when you try to withdraw it: Stalling, asking for more and more, and finally - "You didn't ask for your own money nicely enough so we're going to pretend that means we don't owe it to you".

I've never seen anything like this is any business. Deposit anywhere but Global Poker.
05-30-2019 , 05:51 PM
Nothing but a bunch of crookbags at Global. As said: Get your money off now. As you see, they have a huge liquidation problem. Meaning: They can't cover all payouts.

DO NOT DEPOSIT ON GLOBAL!
05-30-2019 , 06:32 PM
Still nothing. Days of this now. Obviously, they don't have the money. They should stop taking new deposits until they do. The scary part? This was a pretty small withdrawal. Site's obv bankrupt. No other reason for this. DO NOT DEPOSIT ON GLOBAL!!!

Compulsive/obsessive much?

It is pretty pathetic that they send an email back re the PG curse word. That is actually pathetic that a company would do that. Maybe of the bozos in customer support had cognitive ability and responded with actual emails vs pablum bs people wouldn't get so riled up.

By the way, your money is safe, but I'm just going according to personal experience of myself and a large handful of players I work/play with. That's to say nothing of the 4500+ posts in this thread with zero players not getting paid once the logistics were cleared up.

Take a 420 break, fresh air, maybe grab a binky and just chill. Sounds like you're not very familiar with online support of a poker network. They all suck, hope that helps. Kimbr on the other hand, gets stuff done. While I think she is very responsive and helpful, my gut feeling is she isnt attending to these issues overnight while she is sleeping. Aussie land is just getting their day going. Stomping your feet when they are asleep is not going to help.

4+ hours later and still absolutely no response from Global.

Hi, Joseph. We still did not receive the documents we requested from you. Make sure that you carefully follow the instructions we provided in our last email (Zendesk ticket id 3100994).

I know that you are upset but please refrain from spamming this thread otherwise, I will have to delete some of your posts. I also would like to point out that you cannot "deposit" on Global Poker. When you buy Gold Coins, you receive the promotional tool of $weeps Cash™ free of charge.

How big of a withdrawal are we talking here? If its 4 figs then obviously they have the funds to cover, but if its a large one that could be the case...

It sounds like you need a homie to read their email and compile all the stuff they need on your behalf and send it in. You're so heated and pissed off at this situation that you're likely missing things and not following steps
05-31-2019 , 08:10 AM
jesus..... you need to calm down man. listen to what their saying and follow the steps.
