Is anyone else concerned Global Poker is now taking 5+ days to payout and just had a crash over the weekend that still has players missing funds? I've noticed the only people getting paid are getting lower cashouts...myself and the few others guys withdrawing several k+ have been waiting almost a week now.

This is speculation obviously, but it seems plausible that higher cashout amounts are taking longer because they're waiting on deposits/rake. Lock Poker and Full Flush Poker had similar paths from start up -> payout issues -> busto. I sure hope that's not the case with GP but it's super weird they would go from 24 hour payouts to 5+ days in a few weeks.

I'm hoping to get my cashout, but I think I'm done with GP...seems too risky to have money on there right now. Payout issues, rake increases (GP has the highest rake in online poker) crashing issues and missing funds, banks cracking down on deposits, RNG concerns, not to mention the overall questionable legality of their "sweepstakes" model have me thinking there's a decent chance the site could get shut down or they're already struggling to stay liquid.

Good luck to all, I'll still update when I get paid (5 days pending now).

You are certainly entitled to your opinions and thank you for sharing them here. We would just like to clarify a few points that you raised though to hopefully alleviate your concerns about Global Poker.

1) There is no truth to the suggestion that our cash outs are waiting for deposits and rake to come in. The only reason that we have gone from 24 hours to 5 days is our exponential growth rate. We have been hiring and training more people and hope to have this back to a more desirable time frame shortly.

2) Regarding missing funds, these were back in ring game players accounts a few hours after the issue occurred and we notified players of the situation as soon as we were aware.

There was a further slight delay with tournament and SNG cash outs but this was only due to having to go through the effected tournaments to ensure a fair and equitable cash out was made to all parties. These have all occurred now.

As poker players, we completely understand that this situation was not ideal but these things happen to all sites from time to time. Instead of focusing on the fact that the site crashed for a short period we would hope you also noticed our quick response as well as the short time it took for us to rectify the situation to ensure our players were not effected.

3) There are no RNG concerns. The RNG used by Global Poker utilises a Mersenne Twister with background cycling. This was certified by iTechLabs on 15 February 2017 who confirmed that it uses a well known algorithm to generate random numbers. The numbers generated by this RNG have passed Marsaglia's "diehard" tests for statistical randomness. iTech Labs has found that number sequences are unpredictable, non-repeatable and uniformly distributed.

We hope that this helps alleviate some of your concerns. We look forward to seeing you back on the Global Poker tables soon!

They do ask for your PayPal email after it's been approved right? Just making sure they don't assume it's the same as the one you signed up with.
