It’s fine. That was me. Was hoping you had a flush, but in the back of my mind you had KQ. I’m not folding my set of 6’s there. Just gotta chuck that one up to the pokergods. Nice hand.

Thanks, but it’s all good man. My mistake was I should have just called your raise on the river. Shoving against your average 20NL player on the river there is fine because you have people spewing with all kinds of crap there at 20NL (flushes, trip Q’s, etc.) but being that I was playing against a solid reg, flatting should have been the play. No chance you’re calling an allin shove there with anything less than a boat in that spot.

I’ll see you at the tables tonight dude.

The shove-reraise-overbet on the River when the full house completes seems optimistic. But you obviously beat the previous street 3-flush. Is he ever raising your bet with the (possible) nut flush when the full house is also possible on the board? Being results orientated - flat calling with your 666QQ allows you to lose the minimum.

Tough spot. But you definitely lost more than the minimum by reraise shoving.

To no one in particular. Drop your egos at the door. It's only hindering your progress.

If you want to compare something to aspire to. Check out the guys pulling in $10,000+ during a session at the $10/20 tables. I bet they're printing more than poker12 and jaredpoker.

lol, duh

I mean if Global had higher stake SnGs than 218 it'd be closer, but you'd still obviously be right. I think everybody knows this.

The flip side is that playing deep nl involves making many more tough/potentially costly decisions than SnGs; SnGs can basically be played algorithmically and you're printing money, just not as much as people beating 1k and 2knl.

I think the endgame for anybody trying to be a Big Baller in poker is always gonna be beating highstakes cash games, while only playing tournaments when it's worth it/change of pace.

I've always been a cash player, until Global.

1longgrind, I would have squeezed KQss preflop. No reason 3 other people should get to see a flop for so free when you're holding this strong of a hand.

Nick, you could re-raise river small as an alternative, rather than just calling his raise. This way you can have more value bets in your range, and 66 certainty fits in the category of thin value

Sup other Doc lol. Def don't dispute that squeezing is a better play in that spot even if the flatter and RFI see a flop w me KQs plays fine multiway. I like it. Thx
