SNGs are a seriously dying game. All one has to do is look at the yearly sharkscope leaderboards to see how undeniable this is. It is not at all a gradual decline...more like a fall off the cliff.

In 2014 #1 HU turbo player made 312k and top 3 all cleared 100k. Last year #1 made 71k and only top 2 cleared 50k.

In 2014 #1 6max turbo player made 96k and top 12 cleared 25k. Last year #1 made 32k and only top 4 cleared 25k.

Pretty scary how much can change in 3 yrs. Feels like it happened overnight. Better start saving that money instead of living above means like a fraud baller.

only been 4 months and most of us don't play that much and the highest game is 200+18

If you're only playing SnGs you're not gonna get rich but a 100-150k year is easy no prob if you actually grind them 30-40 hours a week. At least on Glolbal Poker.

I agree it's not 200/400 limit hold em on Stars

1) 1/3rd of the year is only done. If he keeps on pace, he will have made 100k this year from poker.

2) I have never seen Jared come off as cocky. I'm fairly sure he knows where he stands in the SNGs streets.

3) If Jared loves to play, then all props to him. I'd take a paycut to do job I love doing.

Yeah, SNGs will be dead by end of 2018, but Mtts will always be thriving. I personally do not play any.

As far as I can tell all this dude does is play a lot of poker and somehow that's enough to get all sorts of people hating on him.

Edit: also it's probably pretty easy to drop 20k when you're just playing 6m 218 turbos and the 150 hyper and that's about it

No longer do I get many 9m games where it's me and 8 fish. Every single one of us makes a ton of mistakes, though, so it's not any time to panic.

Sometimes the 218 will be like me, serpaetetra, jared, some other reg, one semi-fish and one real fish. It's starting to remind me a BIT of Pokerstars 2011, although still way softer.
