I'm happy to report (as TOH surely knows) that Global SnGs are still soft in July 2020. Some of these highstakes cash regs have been grinding SnGs, which makes it a bit tougher, but all the fishies are still splashing around.

I hardly played any SnGs in Jan-March, but have grinded fairly hard in the corona days and got to the top of the 2020 leaderboard. I still don't entirely understand how I have such good results when all I do is fold all day, but hey.

Taking my prescribed psychiatric medicine has really helped with increasing my hours played and reducing tilt. And, since my chat has been banned for xy months, I wonder if fish think I'm a bot again.

I don't have anybody with whom I talk about poker, so forgive me for blogging on 2p2. I hope I can encourage people to play SnGs; it seems like all you have to do to be a winning SnG player is to jam that fold button until ICM time. Whoever folds best wins. NL with no antes is such a mega nitty game. The MTTs are INFINITELY better now that they start with antes.

Also having good results at 100 and 200nl. I'm not sure that my hourly is much worse in these low-mid cash games than higher-stake SnGs that feature way more fluctuation, so I might drop the SnGs again at some point.

Again, please forgive the blogging. None of my friends really play any poker and I got banned from the Global Facebook group. I am a very banned person.

I might post some 2020 SnG power rankings, mainly to rile people up. It was very entertaining when I did that back in the day.

Edit: I also spent the time off working on chess and got back up above 2200 USCF again, which is a pretty big milestone in US chess. I've since gone back below, but I'm still proud

I have to imagine that anybody who plays me in SnGs would be completely shocked at how I play cash and vise versa. I'll open/4b/stack off A5s 100bb deep in a spot where I would literally open fold it in a SnG.

I'm such a ridiculous nit in SnGs that I can't even answer your question seriously. I'm the only nit. I am King Nit. It's so hard to break the decade-old nit habit from when I was a SnG semi-reg on Stars and 24 tabled them.

Poker12 has reported quit playing poker. I asked him why he quit and he said, "I don't want to be greedy." I guess the game was just too easy for him.
