Lol...my ROI was going up and I blocked my sharkscope. Global is a paradise in terms of SNGs, and I think to preserve that, everyone should block their sharkscope. I know for a fact loveskunk blocked his for that reason...not because his ROI was dropping.

Loveskunk also joined the site after seeing Poker12/jared's sharkscope...

So you know loveskunk and that's why you consider him on of the best. Not for nothing but Jareds graph isn't really that good for all of the volume he puts in.

I'm very sorry. It's all self-inflicted tilt issues. I have nothing but respect for you and your poker game.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem...

I unblocked it few days ago to see my own stats. It’s not letting me opt back out now because it says something to do with leaderboards. How can I opt back out? Maybe wrong place to ask, but I’ve already emailed sharkscope, no response

And it’s never gone down, and I would say most people that have theirs opted out have good graphs...not sure where you draw these illogical conclusions

Most people who block their graphs are in the red. Nothing illogical about that statement.

Huh?

This thread is comedy gold.

Im building a roll organically as a challenge, playing just sngs. DrMoonshine is right about Global being a paradise for sngs. Most of these players are the worst I've seen on any site. That said, I don't think blocking my graph is going to prevent other good players from switching over to Global. A lot of the WPN sng grinders are probably satisfied with their rakeback and sit n crush.

I also agree that it's important to keep your ego in check even if you're crushing these sngs on Global. These games are soft as Charmin. That said, I've had to keep my ego in check, too. Sometimes I feel like I'm over-valuing my overall sng skill level, because of how easy these games are.

For what it's worth, I've only played 772 sngs according to SharkScope, average stake $4.30 (I know, feel free to laugh), and ROI of 16.8%. Unfortunately, when SharkScope was not tracking for about 3 days, I was on a huge heater, and I kept a written log of my games, and when I manually adjusted my ROI, it's more like 19%.

Point being, these games are easy. I don't think I'm the best ever, but I look forward to progressing upward through the stakes and battling some of you guys there. I recognize a lot of names ITT from the leaderboards. See you guys soon. My Global sn is hymn_of_doom.

Also, as a final thought...I sincerely hope that DrMoonshine's prediction that sngs will be dead by the year's end is incorrect! I don't want to go back to PLO cash just yet!

Also, I used to think that almost everyone who opted-out on SharkScope was a losing player trying to avoid embarrassment. I still think that at least half are. But, I've come to realize that some crushers also opt-out, for various reasons I'm sure.

Look forward to hearing more of your journey. 19% ROI is certainly solid

Thanks, Doc. I appreciate the kind words. I'm sure we'll be playing vs each other before long. 19% ROI is something to be proud of, and I am. However, 772 sngs still isn't a big enough sample size to consider that my true winrate. I wonder what the margin of error might be on this big of a sample?

Not sure, but I’d imagine quite high. +-10%. You really need a 3k sample or more. What does everyone else think?

SCHEDULED 582 $38.92 $45.06 4,583% $22,652

Number of games, average profit, average stake, ROI, total profit

I want to sell my action for the WSOP main event or other big events. I feel really on form for MTTs and I've improved my MTT game in a couple of ways. I used to just 100% click buttons but I've learned some theory stuff. The ROI is messed up because I got 2nd in some huge freeroll but I'm definitely +ev vs any live field! (except for like the super high roller stuff)

Is there a place to go for this? I remember people used to sell shares on 2p2. Oh, probably in "marketplace and staking".

Live mtts are nothing like global mtts where it's a shove and go for 90% of the field about 4 levels in.
05-29-2018 , 04:27 PM
yeah, that's a fair point
