So, out of nowhere, I received an email today regarding my cashout request. It says that I have not played my cashout through... for 20x. While I understand the rules dictate that they could make the playthrough 1-20x, this is the first time ever, that I am aware of, that someone has been made to play it through more than once. To the best of my knowledge, this is not industry, nor site, standard, and I’m at a loss for words. I cannot understand why they did this, and in quoting the amount needed to playthrough, their email to me went further, and stated a number to playthrough that is approximately 30 times my requested cashout.

This is especially frustrating for several reasons. While I haven’t been playing as much recently as I would like, I’ve had some important things going on irl that have hampered my ability to play. However, I was, for a long time, the highest volume SNG player on the site, and I’ve bought in, and given to rake, 7-figures and 6-figures, respectively, since joining the site. And, this is on top of randomly being banned for almost a week and a half, earlier this summer, for which I was never even given a reason. I presume nobody else is being asked to play through 20x, though, though feel free to post if you are. I’m becoming a bit frustrated with GP, considering all I’ve put in and devoted, with getting banned seemingly randomly, and being given hoops to jump through. If possible, if a rep could help me, I would very much appreciate it. I will post here if, and when, the issue is resolved.

I remember seeing you play ungodly volume at the highest stakes at the height of global's powers, this is pretty messed up if it's intentional.

Can't imagine they wouldn't work with you though after the amount you've played. I was always suspicious of your account man hahaha present at the highest stakes virtually 24/7, but now it seems like you're just one of the high level global fiends.

Just a bit pissed Bc I’ve received no response, and it has not even been two months since I was randomly banned for 10 days without ever getting told why. I figure they probably made a mistake with respect to my cashout, but it’s still unbelievably frustrating, and it makes me want to play even less, even on top of not having time to play recently due to irl things. Hopefully this is all resolved soon.

I always thought it was shady that they could make you play thru 20x or that its at their discretion and not the same for everyone. had never heard of it happening, disheartening to hear. GL

I have had to do a 15x play through before on another site it took me like a year before
I could cash out cause they didn't have a lot of action. Your just gonna have to grind through it.

I've heard of sites doing this when the player accepts a bonus amount. 20x play through on a normal deposit is absurd, and frankly pretty sketchy. I'd imagine 0% of people would play on a site they knew had 20x play through for a deposit.

Maybe GP is trying to weed out the "pro's" by way of excessive playthroughs, as opposed to outright banning big winners like Carbon apparently did.

Just looked through relevant law, to get a better understanding. Among other things, all entrants to sweepstakes must have an equal opportunity to claim prizes and to receive prizes ( https://sarafhawkins.com/sweepstakes-law-equal-dignity/ ). And, sweepstakes cannot involve over-excessive and/or time consuming entries, lest they have excessive consideration ( https://www.kilpatricktownsend.com/~...Journal09.ashx ). And, no, I am not a lawyer, lol, but I presume what has occurred is quite problematic, and so I hope it is a mistake, that shall be corrected soon.

I'm not a lawyer (nor have I ever played one on television), but to play on GP you had to agree to the company's TOS which included the possibility of a 20x playthrough. Since you agreed to it, not sure there is a legal case. But,like I said, I'm not a lawyer, so maybe I should just shut up.

Totally get what you’re saying. What the point I intended was, was that if I am being made to run through it 20x, that’s fine... IF everyone else must do so, as well.

Is there a way to see playthroguh threshold in your account or is it only something you can get via support?

Not that I know of. Then again, I’ve not ever seen anything like this so.. who knows.

At the stakes and volume you play, I would think you did that long ago.

Got another email, confirming the 20x playthrough. Very aggravated. Also, still not sure how that is legal considering that all individuals must be treated equally. Beware, I suppose.

I'm guessing its based on how often you deposit or withdraw.

If you are constantly putting money on or taking money off, they have to deter that and cover their expenses.
