I can tell you with confidence that any online poker site will flag your account. They may not notify you up front, but when you go to cash out you have some SPLAININ to do.

Also you do know your bosses firewall will detect the vpn traffic, right? Unless your'e using a sophisticated setup with OPENvpn standards and a kill switch alongside, your boss will know you're playing cards or at the very least see you're using a certain "port" that identifies with VPN usage.

If you're looking to bypass a firewall you're better off using a proxy for the local network...

I recommend you respect his network and hardware, to be honest.

Les not forget, your poker room will see the different IP addresses and geolocations -- and auto flag your account. most poker rooms have code in place to auto detect this.

don't be that guy

Just make a hotspot from your phone and connect to it. It's safer and you won't have any problems.

Yeah, if possible, do this. The data actually used by poker is tiny.

be grateful you have a job and respect your employer. obviously everyone wastes time occasionally "on the clock" so to speak, but you are creating a thread to deliberately deceive your boss?

Which sounds like a great way to put your funds at risk, and doesn't help answer OP's question in any way, shape, or form.

First post had all the help OP needed - no need to ask anyone but customer support. Then if there are any issues after they tell you it's OK, you have their email to fall back on. When a stranger on the Internet tell's you it's OK and Global locks your account, you're potentially screwed.

Very good point.

Joey confirmed with me on here months ago that utilizing a VPN was fine with Global. I stopped using it as the Avast VPN was slower than my normal path.
