Global Poker Paying wrong payout Global Poker Paying wrong payout

I've been playing on the site for a little while and for the 1st time I Stopped and noticed while playing 2 Single table SNG's at the same time and cashed in them both and was paid out less then the amount on the payout board. In fact while it clearly says it pays out only 3 spots but then paid 4 and if that wasn't enough to make me mad it paid the same amount for 3rd and 4th place. I really wanted Global Poker to be a trustworthy site, but now they got me second guessing how many times this has happend to me. I'll post the picture to prove it. Anyway I hope they take care of this In a timely manner. Let me know if anybody else has comments about this site.

that's a bug that needs to be corrected, not sure if its in the works or even allowed due to the sweepstakes model. When 2 players are eliminated on the bubble by a larger stack they chop the prize for the min cash spot as opposed to the player with the larger stack getting 3rd, 2nd in 6maxes or the min cash spot in mtts. Until its fixed i just try to adjust my play accordingly but i agree it sucks and needs to be fixed. Its been talked about before in this subforum

big bwalz nailed it. This is a design of their software and not an error in the sense that you're talking about. The larger of the two eliminated stacks should receive 3rd place payout, but that's not the case with Global. Personally, I think this way is better as it helps the recreational player which reinforces the fact that Global wants to be rec friendly.

Not a bug. Not the correct way to pay out, but that's how they do it. I pointed this out maybe 8 months ago. If they were going to correct it, they would have by now.
