The current MTT structure on GP is absolutely terrible, any tournament that has an average of 10-15 BBs hours into an MTT is not poker. I think higher starting stacks that make slightly more playability without making the tourneys too long is the only move possible you need to make. 2k starting stack when the blinds go up every 10 minute ( in ludicrous fashion at that) is pathetic.

If youre on the fence about this, please view other sites MTT structure and level increases and compare them to GP, its laughable.

No. Global poker is intended for quicker structures for those casual players and those that work, etc. This has been discussed numerous times. Bovada and WPN have great structures for you.

That is flawed logic, back up two years, then maybe okay I can understand where youre coming from. But GP is trying to present itself as the face of poker in the US as far as online, and with them sponsoring mainstream Podcasts such as PokerNews and its afffiliates, they hold a responsibilty with what they are now, or atleast are presenting themselves to be. Slightly altering the starting stacks would not suddenly make the events 5 hours longer, it would be a small increase that wouldnt even be noticed by players who play for fun, perhaps they would enjoy the longevity of having more than 2k starting stacks and being out before the 1st hour is up? Either way their current model is set up to induce players to re-buy, and especially Add-On, either way myself and many others will agree and lean towards my logic, I look forward to the small perentage of people opposed to this trying to tell me im wrong, because ill **** all over you with logic

A lot of the people on this site won't oppose what you are saying. The casual players who like the structure don't post on 2+2.

100% this. Although bigger starting stacks would be nice. At least 3k to start and 3k add-on.

The only thing I want changed is better value on the add-on, make it 3k instead of 2k for most tournaments.

The bigger tournaments start with bigger stacks anyway.

But, I mean, you should probably start petitions for them to fix everybody's existing issues before worrying about this.

starting stack is irrelevant in terms of chips, only matters if the starting stack changes in BB. The structures should probably be slower but keep in mind that Global wants to cater to recs, who I would guess want tourneys that don't take 10 hours.
