How do high stakes regs get money on the site when the max deposit is 1k?

Used to be a 5k option. Now you have to just spam 1k over and over. The most I’ve deposited at once since the change was 12k and had to call credit card company twice. It also would just randomly start refusing them after like 5 deposits in a row on global’s end(confirmed by cc company). After a little while they started going through again.

Prob makes fish lose slower, keeps games running around them going for longer and generates more rake for the site. Guys can’t just easily deposit 5 figs, blow through it quickly and be out of action for weeks anymore. Having to go through all the rigmarole gives them more time to come to their senses as well.

Contact your bank, enable foreign transactions. Once you are sure your bank is ok, it sometimes takes multiple attempts to purchase, according to the feedback in this thread.

Received an email from Global stating American Express is no longer an option to purchase a gold coin package.

I recently made a purchase of $50 of gold coins, and had my card charged 2x for it. I have disputed 1 of the charges with my bank, so folks double check your bank ledger

so after speaking with customer service, they acknowledged the card was charged 2x, but only credited once... HOWEVER if I dispute the 2nd charge they will permanently close my account, yet say they cannot refund the amount, so I have no choice but accept a 2nd charge and credit for the additional charge... not what I was hoping for as it wasn't my fault their processor messed up

Unfortunate. Maybe you can use this as a reason to set up your withdrawal privileges and after the playthrough you can withdraw the extra 50.

Trying to purchase some gold coins with my debit card. With no luck. It says refused. I know there is money on it I called card company and said they didnt see the transaction and I could make out of country purchases. I have withdrew funds from GP in the past. i just got refused..but its probably cause i used my wifes card lol..when i was playing PS in ecuador i had to talk to support like 4 times until somebody gave me a clear answer on whether i could use her card or not...fwiw, they said i could use it, but they said at my own risk lol

Havent deposited to Global since they stopped using PayPal. Trying to deposit with Master Card, but when go through the process i get a notification that the deposit did not go through due to it being Refused. Do I have to call my bank and try again?

Just to clarify, you cannot make deposits on Global Poker. You can only purchase Gold Coins.

While most similar transactions have gone smoothly, there have been a few customers with a similar situation to yours. Other customers who have had similar issues have informed us that contacting your bank/card issuer and authorizing the payment being requested by "VGW Malta" has resolved the issue.
