Of those in here that have been paid... anybody use a prepaid account such as netspend? They approved my 3k cashout and verified the bank account. But i saw in a thread somewhere that prepaid checking accounts won't work with world pay. Wondering if anyone can shed light on it. Thank you.

I sent a dl statement but that didn't work alone. So i screenshotted the first page and that accepted that

I got credit card that allows foreign transactions with no fee, deposited 5k with no problem. Tried to deposit another 5k today and it was declined. Had 15 min phone convo to get block taken off my account and security department was asking me questions. "What kind of merchant is this?" "What is GP Gold Coins"? This seems like it will be very bad for high stakes games if fish are going to get hassled after losing a couple buyins.

Hot damn! I have a netspend card specifically because it works for deposits, no questions asked.

If we can withdraw to netspend, then all of my concerns will be moot.

I would not leave a lot of money on the card, since the details are out there on a “secure” server forever.

You know, if a bank thinks you're buying actual gold coins, it's going to raise some flags for them. While restrictions on gold have greatly loosened, there are some gold coins that are still prohibited, and others that require reporting. Any purchase of $10K+ in gold has to be reported, regardless of whether it's broken up into smaller purchases. If I were Global poker, I would ask worldpay to change the transaction name. Just a thought.

Wouldn't a better excuse be like, gold coins are single-use items in a video game? I use it to buy virtual tampons for my MMORPG character. There's a huge industry now for that stuff and probably how Global gets away with its shenanigans.

Just tried using CC I've used a million times depositing on wsop.com and Global in the past. Declined. This is a very bad sign for Global. Fish cannot get money on. Bye bye Global Poker.
