Please note this is BEFORE I put any card info in (I can't even get to that stage), so it's NOT a bank issue.
Is this being looked at holistically by the technical team or only on a case by case basis? It seems like there are quite a few users affected by this and I'm worried that it's only being resolved on an individual basis after a user reports the issue. My concern is that there a bunch of recreational players that aren't going to take the time to contact support to get this fixed.

Other than this bug I do not know why there is not a message to call your bank along with the purchase failed message.

I’m getting “failed... reason unknown” right now with the same card that I’ve used multiple times.

Yes, once again I am having the same problem. No way to deposit funds seems like a good approach to going out of business.

I'm just getting back into Global again and I'm trying to deposit on my Skrill account.I'm getting this intimidating message asking me if I intend to make gambling transactions using my deposited funds, and that it won't be allowed or something like that. Is this normal? How do I proceed?

I'm getting this message when I go to deposit on Skrill. I haven't tried depositing on Global *from* Skrill yet. So this looks like some kind of "advanced warning" message or something.

Am I going to have to make a deposit on Global Poker with Skrill before I can make a cashout with Skrill?

I suggest getting rid of the feature where you have to send a verification code to a phone number before paying with a card. This isn't being done by my bank. It's being done by Global.

Tried twice each with debit card and credit card that have worked before. All 4 deposit attempts failed.

If your Gold Coins purchase was declined most especially if you have previously made a successful purchase with the same card, please create a support ticket the link below so we can look into it. Thank you.

When did Global start using 3d secure for card payments? Maybe that's when purchases became a lot harder to go through? I'm talking about "verified by Visa" and "securecode" from Mastercard.

Please bear in mind that social gaming transactions such as the purchase of Gold Coins are recognized by Skrill as non-gambling transactions.

You need to use your Skrill to purchase Gold Coins before you can use it to redeem your winnings as well. I also would like to point out that you cannot "deposit" in Global Poker. When you buy Gold Coins you receive the promotional tool of $weeps Cash™ free of charge.

This has been happening for over a month now and has coincided with a big drop in traffic. I think it's best to assume that it's happening to everybody and not just dealt with on a case by case basis.

Had the red screen all week, emailed Monday, got a form response saying they’d forward to correct department, nothing since. Probably why traffic is awful right now.

The same happened to me. They got back to me 2 1/2 weeks later.

i've run into an issue where trying to deposit from my phone or even firefox fails and my bank doesn't even see the transaction but chrome from my desktop works so try that.

This is mind bogglingly insane, it's like they're purposely trying to run the business into the ground. We are watching it die a slow painful death and it will be fully gone if this isn't resolved ASAP. Just imagine all the non-2p2 folks dealing with issues who got annoyed and will never be back!

Hi, everyone. Can you please provide your Global Poker usernames below or via a private message? If you already submitted a ticket, just provide the Zendesk ticket id so I can personally look into it. Thanks.

Seriously you are losing such a large chunk of customers permanently because of these issues. I hope management at Global is at least taking this serious and working on a permanent resolution. One of the few sites as a US player that is at least okay to play on. Traffic has been dying on your site.

CS Kimbr pass it on to the appropriate departments... that they need to find a way again, where players can deposit with their debit and credit cards without having to call the card issuer and enable international transactions. To make the deposit go through.

Most people are unaware that this is why their deposits are not going through.

And WILL NOT bother to find out why. They'll just move on to another site...

Not able to buy Gold Coins now. Never had a problem in the past. B-Bye Global, was fun while it lasted.

Purchase Confirmation Pending
Your purchase is taking slightly longer to process than normal. Please check the Cashier again in a few moments for confirmation.

I just learned of the site today and was set to make my first GC purchase, only to learn that residents of Washington state cannot purchase Gold Coins.

So am I just completely out of luck for playing on GP?

Did you actually try? I live in WA, and back when they first disallowed deposits, I tested the cashier, and it locked me out with a message. But a month or so ago, somebody here posted that WA residents could purchase again, so I tested the cashier just to see (and did it again just now), and now it doesn't lock me out anymore and actually takes me to the purchase options.

I haven't actually deposited in forever, so I can't say for sure, but I have been playing and cashing out (including one this last week) no problem since they first cut us off. Sounds like lots of people having deposit issues lately though so might depend more on the bank than the state.

I hadnt entered any card info or anything but i filled out name, address, birthdate in the process. After verifying the mobile text code I got the red box error message.
