Hi guys,
I was climbing through the ranks starting last October or so.
I beat NL10, NL20 and NL50.
Couple of days ago I moved to NL100 and the level of play there is significantly better. I think I still can beat it, but it's like day and night comparing to NL50.
Obviously I don't have reasonable sample so far, but it feels like every table has at least 3-4 regs and 2 of those regs are really good ones. At NL50 I was used to sit at 5 fish and me kind of tables or maybe me and one average reg and 4 fish.

Now the question is. Does anyone from here playing NL100 on global. I am not asking for your winrate or anything, but I am really wondering if it is worth it. The rake is slightly smaller bb wise per 100, but level of play is tough.

Good luck dude. I’m still killing the 50NL streets.

might be better to just stay at 50. i remember back when i played NL there, there would be fish all the way up to 200nl, but probably not as many, you're right.

I think this is too quick an evaluation after only a few days ago. Give it time, play the level. You def know how to play your card runs. Once you get some value you'll be in a completely different mind set.

The thing is it's not kind of money that will change anything in my life. I want to reach the highest level. I guess I should study more.

haha, yeah I have a job. When living in Bay Area you can't really make a living from NL50 or NL100 lol

Ha, but is it good? What do you do?

Personally I don't think it's that big of a jump from NL 50 to NL 100. Start playing NL 200 and you'll notice a difference. Maybe just do some table selecting.

Taker101,

I see same regs playing NL100 and NL200, so I don't really think there is much of a difference in play. I don't know how much you played NL50 and NL100, but the difference in aggressiveness is tremendous. On NL50 people will 3bet you so rarely that you can safely fold 80% or something. It is not the case on NL100.

preki,
It is pretty good. Software Developer Manager.
