Good afternoon,

Could Kimbr or another rep clarify a rule that was brought to my attention in the TOS?

Section 6Prizes

Article 5- in New York or Florida the maximum of a sweeps cans prize via a participants participation in the sweepstakes games is limited to $5,000 any excess of $5,000 will not be paid.

Does this mean if someone wins over 5k they will not be paid the excess in those two states? When did this rule change?

This doesn’t effect me personally but I know it will effect a lot of people and would like to be notified should some rule be added that effects me later.

where do i find the terms of service?

It's on the front page I believe. I live in FL also. I thought this applies to jack pot SNGs but would like to have it clarified from global.

7.10. In New York and Florida, the maximum amount for which a Prize won on any one spin or play can be redeemed is limited to USD$5,000 and amounts in excess of USD$5,000 will not be redeemed.

This is the only thing Ive found so far

I've sent PM to Kimbr and they will get back with me after talking to their legal department just to clarify things.

maybe you can only cash out 5k at a time? also since cash games are called " sweeps cash" does this rule apply to anything over 5k aswell ? this site is so sketchy ... nice find OP thanks...

I am hoping its just applicable to spin and gos or just maximum of $5,000 redemption.
08-22-2019 , 01:01 PM
wow thats no good. Surprised no one noticed this before and wonder if it was change that was made at some point.

actually the response is pretty vague and i was hoping one of the reps would clear this up .

Does it apply to jackpot SNG and Tournament wins ? It bothers me that they didnt outright say that they will pay the poker side of things over 5K if your in florida and newyork .

i hear ya. it does kinda seem like they were trying to say its for the casino.

i am in ny and have only withdrawn 1400ish no more than 500 at a time and would hate to score big or just get to 5000 in cash outs and not be able to cash out more assuming i keep winning over time.

more details from a rep would certainly help!

This won't be a problem.

the mods deleted a post i had on here where i was questioning global pokers policy on FL NY payouts ( probably because i was arguing with a moron , which in turn kinda makes me a ....... ****) , so ive been meaing to post again.

"[/B]LIMITS AND FEES
7.9. We reserve the right to charge fees for processing the redemption of Prizes to you and to set a minimum redemption
request amount of USD$50.
7.10. In New York and Florida, the maximum amount for which a Prize won on any one spin or play can be redeemed is limited
to USD$5,000 and amounts in excess of USD$5,000 will not be redeemed.
7.11. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to limit each Participant’s redemption of Prizes to USD$10,000 per day. "

can kimber elaborate on this , i received a vague response from the global. can i get a solid response from kimber saying that FL and NY players will be paid if the hit a jack pot SNG or win a Tournament.

im literally not playing in tourneys for this reason, would love a rock solid response.

Rock solid response from Global? You're joking, right? This is one of those "don't hold your breath" scenarios, in my opinion.

What’s vague about the email you posted? It says it pertains to the casino side of things.

the quote i posted recently was off of Global Pokers TOS , not chumba casino. also the fact that kimber wont respond in here is telling.
09-06-2019 , 05:26 PM
you already got an email response from global idk what else you need. Kimbr not posting in this thread isnt telling at all.
09-06-2019 , 07:44 PM
"This pertains to the casino side which is Chumba Casino. Chumba Casino and Global Poker is under the VGW Group."

so basically this implies that this rule only applies to chumba casino. then why is it on global pokers TOS. also this response is basically saying chumba casino is different but the same. " same same but different"

if you dont want a better response than this then you deserve to get scammed. imo. and people say poker is dead .....

the reason kimber is not responding in this thread is because she knows shes not supposed to speak on this subject. maybe they will pay out but its illegal and she cannot respond , maybe the vaguely worded response is correct , or maybe your gonna get **** all if you hit a big score. i know most of you like to hear what you want to and not ask the responsible questions and hope for the best but id rather know for certain.
