New Sweeps Rules New Sweeps Rules

To any of you sending in sweepstakes entries--- Will a clear, white 4x6 index card still be accepted inside the envelope? (with the required text written on the card, obv)? The new language in their Sweeps Rules is unclear, as it now says that it needs to be a "post card" or "white piece of paper". I think the index card should qualify as "paper", so it should be accepted IMO. I tried emailing support, but of course they just refer you back to the Sweeps Rules and state that it needs to be a valid "Request Card", whatever that might mean they are looking for specifically who knows?

Myself and a couple others apparently sent in a few after the change to the Sweeps Rules on 5/31 using index cards according to the wording that is now gone. I've heard from one person via pm that cs said index cards were a no go. After it was removed from the new rules with no notification or acknowledgement that I'm aware of. Another person said it's fine but I think he was guessing. We're waiting to see if the few we sent in are credited or not before sending more with index cards or getting postcards for the next batch. One problem is that if none of us get credited we will be waiting indefinitely unless somebody sent in cut up pieces of paper or postcards when the new rules said to send in index cards or cut paper but nothing about postcards, which is unlikely. Hopefully they honor the index cards.

Hard to say. I sent a batch with index cards (blank white on one side, lines on the other - and wrote on the blank side) but have not been credited any yet. Not sending any more until I hear anything, so we’ll see. Probably best to just go with blank post cards, though those are tougher to find.

I wrote on the lined side, the rules at the time didn't say which side to write on i figured since it made it easier and helped with my penmanship why not use the lines. As far as going with the postcards, what's to say they dont change the rules in another week or 2 that they have to be pink, and then in a couple more weeks a different color? I think they need to honor the index cards and not keep changing the rules like they did without telling anybody. If not they'd be in jeopardy of violation of sweeps laws, and these are very experienced people running the company they're plenty smart enough not to risk that.

They HAVE to honor the note card. If they dont... Hi FTC? Yeah this is Bawsten and Id like to report an illegal lottery... they will then be sued by the FTC and put on penalty that if they dont change it theyre operating illegally. Which is exactly what theyre going to end up doing is changing the sweeps rules cause theyre unduly burdensome to begin with and the FTC has already been notified. You never have to write a paragraph out to enter a sweepstakes and you definitely dont have to acknowledge terms and conditions and sweeps rules and to in writing be bound by them when you are explicitly and stated to be agreeing to those T&C and sweeps rules just by participating and sending a request. To have to write that out is unduly burdensome and their company/lawyers just trying to buy time till they figure out the next step to try to bring down their overhead. Global cant keep making it hard and changing it is my main point. The FTC will shut them down or tell them to change it back to what it was a month ago in terms of sweeps rules. they wanted to play the loophole game but they didnt think people would figure it out this fast. well guess what, we playing the game now and theyre ****ed.

Jesus you people are stupid. You’ve got handed free $ for who knows how long and you’re here taunting global? Good luck when they move it back to a $1 and you have to actually win at poker to get money.

international stamps are $1.20 and they couldnt do that because theyre open to Canadian residents. You dont understand this is how regulation works. Im playing by the rules 100% theres nothing they can do but play by the rules also. Why is every one so pissed off about people participating in the promotions. Its crazy how insecure every one is and bitter, they just have to post and bash people about things they dont even understand. Welcome to the real world people learn a thing or two it might benefit you in the long run. And always read the terms and conditions

Bawsten, I agree with you about the bashing and you are probably right about the rules. Still, lets try to not call everyone out and draw tons of attention. They could make playthrough 20x’s per their current rules. Or change it and make it 100x’s, or whatever so lets just calm down. Fwiw I’ve never had an envelope approved.

I sent a few at the beginning of the month to see what happened(index cards, wrote on the lined side). Since then I’ve written but not sent any more, waiting to see if the index cards are acceptable.

Bitter? Pointing out the obvious. Heard the expression don’t bite the hand that feeds you? On here bragging and bitching about a loop whole that you’ve clearly made a ton of $ from. I’d love to participate in this lol, but you coming here posting what you are is going to hinder that 100%.

From 2 different reps now I have been told that index cards are acceptable, but they must be 4x6 white clear cards, with no lines or colors. However, I was also told that your full name must still appear in the return address on the outside of the envelope, but a few players have said they had envelopes approved by only including their return address without a name, so who knows ? Very difficult to get clear answers from support, whether intentional or not.

You're spot on. Bawsten is a complete clown.
06-24-2020 , 01:48 PM
Bawsten actually has prolly made more money off this and in the games then you guys have ever fantasized about but youre all bitter cause someone else made a thread about it that i gave a couple opinions about my experience in. Instead of not thinking you know everything you little boys talked **** and i just dont get it. This is the rules, this is regulation, i have no clue what any of you are mad about or why youre attacking me. You clearly do not understand how global works and the laws which govern their existence. Just carry on grinding you 20 dollar buy ins wondering why you never get ahead in life.

Heard the expression multiple streams of income? This is something i do on the side that i make a lot of money about and understand completely. Im a lawyer during my day job, nobody is biting the hand that feeds them. Global has to play by the rules but you guys all seem to not like the rules cause someone has benefited from them more than you.

i like the new rules, making it harder for freeloaders
06-24-2020 , 04:19 PM
LMAO @ freeloaders. If you put in envelopes you prolly grind also. I create a lot of rake for the site and long term they will make more money off me regardless how many envelopes sent in. Their business model is to pay more for customer retention and it works at a level that theyre comfortable with, but since none of you know anything about anything you just think that people are free loaders but the very cash games you sit in are most likely started by me. Gl in your grind every body, ive given every one here enough info but youre all too stubborn to see it that way cause you just dont understand how things work. in your mind things should be X but theyre truly Y and you just refuse to accept it. Thats why you cant beat global and mad when you hear others do.
06-24-2020 , 04:42 PM
Get over yourself buddy, you’re coming off as an absolute clown.

It's simply your arrogance. Your language and previous posts prove you lie/contradict yourself. I'd be willing to bet you're not a lawyer either.

What's your screen name on Global? You go from saying you're one of the winningest players to saying you've been "doomswitched" for months. I promise no long term winners would ever say they were "doomswitched". They know better.

If you toned it back and didn't come off as a know-it-all, arrogant *****, I'm sure you wouldn't receive as much hate.

Im eating strawberries on my hammock in my back yard reading this. Is that arrogant, or just the truth?
