New global layout? New global layout?

Isn’t this just an update to the Cubeia software that they are using? If they wanted to make an effort they could make their own software that isn’t hot garbage. They could include features such as: tables that don’t randomly close, blinds that are posted correctly and balances being correct.

They fixed the BB all in for less glitch!

Def appreciate change Global, looks more professional.

BUT, please get rid of the poker chip background image showing through the lobby, hard on the eyes with the white font.

Yep, this isn't going to work. I had to log off and back on. Don't like that one bit.

Def this. Otherwise I don't hate it except some spacing issues which are visually annoying to me. For instance right now looking at tourneys, "Type" column is too narrow, so instead of seeing NLH I can only see NL and part of the H. Similarly the g in "Registering" in the last column butts up against the edge of it's column. Making the window bigger doesn't seem to affect any of this. It would be nice if those headers/columns were slidable/adjustable like in standard software, but if not then for the love of all that is aesthetic and holy properly size and center your ****.

One last spacing thing that bothers me is that there is no clear border on the bottom of the webpage. Since sometimes webpages/browsers don't fully load a page properly, and it gets that "suddenly cutoff" look , I strongly prefer when pages don't intentionally have this cutoff look by default even when you've already scrolled all the way to the bottom. In this case the solution would be adding a small border of blue/black space at the bottom of the page, like there is at the top, and have everything including the ads/promos end before that. Then put the actual tables/scrollable part that needs lots of its own scroll space inside its own separate, bordered, scrollable window that also has a clear end above the aforementioned added bottom space of the page. Prob sounds super nitpicky but the more it looks like an actually nice rectangular poker client, the better.

I always did this by starting to register for a tourney but then hitting cancel. When I closed the tourney lobby it would update a second later. Always just seemed like it was triggered by "doing something else" and then bringing it back to the lobby. Failed to work immediately about 2% of the time if I had to guess but usually worked and I just chalked that up to their stupid lag/sync problems. Better than logging out at least. Also if you just waited it eventually caught up and refreshed itself after some inordinate amount of time. Which was super annoying but better than nothing I suppose.

Please change it back. On firefox there's a huge black bar at the top of our window when multi-tabling and the blue poker chip background in the lobby makes it difficult to navigate.

On a Mac with Safari i am unable to scroll the home page! unless someone here knows how i cant find the scroll bars and keyboard arrows and page up and down dont work. its 5pm here and i cant see any tourney after 6:45pm >

FWIW if you toggle between settings and home in the top left it'll update balance

Having the cancel button on the right and confirmation on the left when buying in is driving me nuts. I just cancel every damn time.

I tried registering, unregging, regging again for a tourney, and my balance updated automatically each time I didn't need to click anything like before.

I can not find how many games are running used to be in upper left corner of lobby.

Anyone else having trouble seeing their cards on mobile?
09-27-2018 , 09:40 PM
I should clarify that the blinds and bets cover my cards so I can't see the top of the card

Props to Global Poker finally doing something to their layout and interface, but it honestly is a step in the wrong direction when it comes to accessibility aside from easier filtering. Not trying to nitpick too hard here, but this is one of the most important things when it comes to playing on the site (whether or not it feels easy and relaxing to grind on).

Please replace the blue background w/ chips being stacked with something less hard on the eyes, anything easy would work - the black background that was provided before was great. Red and black works! White and blue is hard to navigate through, on top of the fact that the buy-in button has now been switched when jumping into a table. Feels confusing to people who have been regulars here for a while.

There's way too much just random white or black space on the site. Size your backgrounds properly within the lobby and make pop-outs for multi-tabling as seamless and simple as possible.

Please fix the black bar that pops up at the top of the tables, it makes the multi-tabling on this site much more difficult to click buttons on the bottom when tiling them in a vertical direction:

For cash games, balance did not update automatically. Clicking the "home" button updated it however.

Maybe I'm wrong. Logged into Nitrogen and it still has the old lobby.

*Update on new HH discovery*

When viewing a hand history from the drop-down menu, there's an option to cycle 'Previous Session' & 'Next Session' -- similar to the old previous and next buttons. However, the new 'Previous' button actually takes you to the next hand in the session, and the 'Next' button takes you to the previous hand. This only applies to the selected 15-minute window.....when getting to the end -- err beginning, lol -- you have to then click 'view all hands' and then manually adjust the time. #WTF

I also noticed the arrangement of 'yes' & 'cancel' boxes are switched around at the buy-in screen, maybe others. This seemed like a non issue, however factoring the whack language in the HH selection buttons, this may be an actual glitch.

While you are here with your excellent remarks why do you go over to the RNG thread that you ghosted and answer the question I have asked twice. Which you haven't done.

Which is a shocking development...

Yeah I think it might be a glitch too, or a very interesting way to try to prevent data mining somehow? Really not sure. But yeah it doesn't make looking through your old hands very easy, that is for sure

The switch of the yes and cancel buttons through out the tables is something i would want fixed.

Seems like the design was rushed. It needs a lot more testing and eyes on it before it's ready. Can't imagine the design team consist of more than 2 people. Disappointing.
