Why are table changes so frequent and arbitrary? For example, my first three hands in a recent MTT were each played on different tables. And only a few hands later, I was moved again.

I suspect others have experienced this too. Any ideas why Global is so different than every other online or live venue in this regard?

This isn't abnormal, tables break with eliminations and they are rebalanced. Sometimes you move a lot, is what it is.

The most annoying instance of this is when you sit down at the beginning of a tournament, like the Brawl, with a larger player pool and lots of late reg.

Then Global proceeds to punish you by throwing you in between blinds at a new table so you miss a couple of hands, watch everyone else play, then immediately get shipped off to another table. I swear I've had this happen 2 or 3 times in a row before. Spent a solid six or seven minutes not playing, but at least they kept it consistent amirite?

Seems arbitrary, but it's whatever

I've experienced this on every mid-sized site out there i've played on over the nearly 17 years i've been doing this. holy ****, 17 years.

its bc of late reg, when all the tables are full and one more person registers they take a player from 7 or 8 tables to fill the seats around the guy that late regged. the same thing would happen live but instead they either keep a seat open and fill it with late regs or they have late reg tables. sorry that online poker is so convenient that the process is streamlined so tables are automatically balanced and filled, sounds like a real headache

Only thing that annoys me when they move you on tables is the new table window pops up and is massive and not the same size of the table I had before. I am typically playing tables across multiple sites so I cant just tile tables and I have to manually resize the table. I find that so incredibly frustrating and it doesn't seem to happen with any other site, just Global.
