Horrible Experience: ,000 Stuck, No Help! Horrible Experience: ,000 Stuck, No Help!

I visited this website after seeing some Facebook ads and was just checking it out. I was not looking to play but was checking out how the site and deposits work. I clicked the $5,000 option and was asked to login with Paypal, which I already had the info on auto-fill. I was automatically charged. No confirmation screen, or authorization, nothing.

This is my business Paypal and I was NOT looking to play, just checking how the site works. I did not mean to make a deposit, as stupid as that sounds.

Either way - I contacted support and was told no refunds. I tried to cash out and submitted all of my documentation. Once again I was told - I need to play first before I am eligible to cash out. I am NOT looking to play, all I need is my money back.

Even worse, after losing a Paypal claim, my account has no balance in the account. So now I am out $5,000 and also 0 dollars in the Global Poker account. I have to wait one more day to dispute with my card.

What do I do?

Tell the truth. You deposited $5K and then your wife yelled at you, beat you, and then told you to get the money back.

No take-backs, dude.

Nah nothing like that.

1. This is business $
2. This is a mistake
3. Not looking to play on this site

So that's the story you're going with?
06-18-2018 , 08:12 PM
Wait, I'm confused here. The 5K was in your Global account, because you tried to cash it out, but now it's not?

No. He purchased the $5K “by mistake”. It’s in his account, but he claims he didn’t mean to.

How does someone with 4,000 posts on this site do something like this without expecting any type of reprimand?
06-18-2018 , 08:15 PM
Right. I got that. But he also says "and also 0 dollars in the Global poker account."

Ah didn’t even see that til you mentioned it. Maybe because he requested the cashout? All he has to do is cancel the cashout request.

How does someone with 4,000 posts on this site accidentally deposit $5K on a site they never intended to play on?

Yes. He’s full of crap. Nobody will believe that story that has any common sense.

Because of the Paypal dispute, the money was removed from my balance. The cashout has been cancelled because there was no play-time...

Support has been terrible. I am not looking to play, just to get the $ back, simple as that.

You’ll probably have to play enough hands until you’re able to withdraw. Read up on it to figure out how much, play the hands, withdraw, and make sure you learned a valuable lesson here.

Sucks that you used the wrong account but you've got to know that poker sites wont allow this. Maybe back in the day or something you could get your money back without play through but in the 2018 market no way dude.

He's said twice he has a 0 balance in his Global account. Kinda hard to play through without money.

He decided to dispute even though it was his fault. Now he will have to wait for the dispute to clear before he can play through it.

Paypal dispute is finished, in GP's favor. Yet no $$$ in GP account.
06-18-2018 , 09:32 PM
Are you sure? Are you aware that you have to click a "switch currency" button to view your sweeps cash on Global?
06-18-2018 , 09:42 PM
Of course... I already let support know.

Might be "NYC'S Finest" but definitely not the smartest. Should have chose the $1 Gold Coin Purchase if just to test & not the 5K!

This.

Also your story kinda sounds like a load of BS to me, no offense but who "accidentally" clicks $5,000...THEN proceeds to login to their Paypal, just to "check" the site out?
06-20-2018 , 01:26 PM
Believe it or not, I wanted to tell you guys about my shady experience with Global Poker...

I wouldn't waste my time with some bs.

I still have not received the $5000 back to my account. My $5,000 was returned to Global Poker's Paypal account after my dispute, but 2 days later, I get a message from support saying my funds won't be coming back and my account is suspended now?

This is ridiculous... See below:

I hope this can get some attention,

I understand it is a stupid mistake, but either way this is shady business. Global Poker has my $5,000 and is clearly not refunding or letting me cash it out. Even worse: it has not credited my account with the $5000 ...

This is why I was skeptical of a US-allowed poker site in the first place.

NYC's Finest has a flawless rep in the hsnl trading thread and sports discussion thread, I don't understand all of the trolling. Especially when GP has numerous threads on here about how sketchy they are.

I hope you can get that 5k back.

If the funds were "funded" to your PayPal account from a card, the best thing you can do is wait for the transaction to post and then dispute the charge with your issuing card company.

I can understand completely what happened. I'm not sure how they can store your PayPal login info and not verify charges. I have had that before where I clicked on the buy and there were no other confirmations the purchase is instant.

I can understand why they do not allow you to play as you did dispute the transaction. With PayPal they know there are other ways the funds could be disputed even after they win a dispute.

So. Hopefully your purchase was funded with a card and NOT from your PayPal balance. If it was from your PayPal balance you are SOL. If it was from a credit card you should be able to get it back. If it was a debit card, it may not be as easy.

GL! I hope to see you get it back.
