Granted, I've had multiple instances of using foul language, but TBH it was after reading Joey's post, and thinking using curse words is ok.
Maybe GP should be a little more clear and consistent about chat rules? Also, they warned me of getting my chat permanently disabled, but is one and final warning fair?
The only "foul language" in the chat Joey quoted was already **** out, Joey was addressing the notion that the chatter was harassing his target buy going on about him being broke and sad and using **** out words to describe him.
If you used foul language that appears as **** in chat, you're not going to have a problem with GP support I'd think. If you are circumventing the chat filter to get the foul language to not be **** out by added spaces, using a # for a letter, misspelling the word etc then you are going to potentially get flagged for this by support. Particularly if they get complaints about you.
As to your questions, sure 1 warning is fair. They don't have to give you any warning if they don't want to. But you yourself said you've had multiple issues with foul language so maybe it's the first time they said do it again and your chat will be banned, but it's clearly not the first time they've reached out to you. And no where in Joey's post did he say curse words are ok to use in chat. In fact he says the opposite. He says nothing BESIDES the already blocked out curse words and not capitalizing God seems to bad to him.
Why do you feel the need to use curse words in game chat anyway?
