GlobalPoker.com Noobie/First Time Withdrawal Guide GlobalPoker.com Noobie/First Time Withdrawal Guide

07-05-2017 , 08:35 AM
I'm creating this guide to see if this helps people cashing out for the first time from global poker. The first time I cashed out took a total of 2 days, 1 to get verified then 1 to show in my PayPal. I cashed out of global poker for 92$ and have 87$ in my PayPal account.

To minimize possible issues follow this guideline(read it several times if needed so you don't skip a step) and make sure to read GPs withdrawal guidelines thoroughly. NEVER make multiple accounts!

Once you receive the verification email from global poker for your first withdrawal you will be asked to provide an ID and utility bill or other documents for proof of address, it will read something like this:

"Thank you for your recent cash out request. To complete the request, we require some additional information from you.
As part of our efforts to keep our customers' accounts safe, we will need customers cashing out for the first time to complete a one-time identity verification process. Once completed, your cash out requests moving forward shall be processed quickly.
For this one time, we require that you send us 2 different verification documents clearly showing the following information:
1. Photo proof of identification - this should be a government issued ID, showing your complete name, proof of age and physical address, such as a passport, driver's license or national / State ID. Your name and address should match what you have provided us in the Verification form you recently submitted.
AND
2. Proof of address - this can be any of the following: utility bill, notarized agreement form for a lease, bank statements, medical insurance or a computer generated Payroll document. (Please ensure we can see clearly the issue date of the document, the name of the company that the document is from and the document has been issued within 3 months)
In order for us to process your verification quickly, please ensure you send us clear, current copies of your documents. We will advise once your verification has been approved. We are currently experiencing high volume of customer service requests and our verification process is taking up to 5 days to process. We are working hard to get to your verification approved and your cashout paid."

For this guide, we will be using a utility bill(not a mortgage bill). Make sure to select reply in this given email and attach the files of the photos/scans into the reply email. Double check that you are sending this email to support@globalpoker.com:

1) Make sure the background for both your ID and utility bill are the same in the photos you take and that the photos you take can be read easily/are clean(don't be lazy during this step and take multiple photos if needed).

2) Make sure both your ID and utility bill are current: For your ID: make sure that it is not expired. For your utility bill: Make sure it is a current utility bill of up to 3 months maximum from the date you are submitting the first withdraw.

3) I would highly suggest making both your paypal and email/facebook account used for global poker the same on both sites, both on paypal and GP for continuity and that you NEVER make multiple global poker accounts. There are nightmare threads of people creating multiple accounts and not being able to cashout. Make sure that your GP and PayPal passwords are unique from one another to protect your accounts on both sites.

If all goes well hopefully you will receive this email within a couple of days(or only one day like i did):

"Congratulations! We already processed your pending cashout request. Please be advised that this will be paid within 1 business day upon approval of request. An email confirmation will be sent once the funds were transferred to your PayPal account."

While I'm new to Global Poker i hope that all goes well. I will keep this thread updated with my success/issues i run into on the site.

Very Important!:
4) In your reply email make sure the attached images are named your username for global poker and what each image is i.e. "(username) id" and "(username) proof of address". Make sure to also include your literal name in the email and that the spelling of everything is correct...verify everything multiple times before clicking send. Don't be lazy for this step!

Here is an example reply email:

"Here is the requested ID and utility bill for my account payout(Firstname Lastname aka (username)). Thank you, Firstname."

And don't forget to attach the photos!

It would be beneficial if it was laid out in step by step details on their site. It seems some have struggled to understand how to do it. Sadly, there will still be some that get it wrong and never bother to read your post.

Nice effort!

Yea i was super paranoid about not being able to cashout after seeing all the posts regarding people having those types of issues. I thought I'd try to help some of the community out if i could for those who do some research/find these forums before joining GP. Maybe this will save some others from having to go through those nightmare scenarios. My experience has been great soo far...here's to hoping GP will be around for a while.

My experience last week was the same as for ZiggyZ. It took less than 24 hrs to get my ID & utility bill processed to verify my identity, and less than 24 hrs later I had $47.50 in my Paypal account. I was surprised they took $2.50 as a processing fee, but otherwise it all worked fine.

GP does not charge a processing fee, PayPal does.

I have two questions. Is it possible to get verified before I deposit (buy gold coins)? What if the address on my ID isn't my mailing address?

Yes you can verify early, prior to your first withdraw.

They are looking for proof of residence. If your ID has an old address because you recently moved or something, explain that when you submit your verification docs. As long as you have utilities in your name at your current address I don't think you'll have a problem, but they will advise you from there.
