To qualify for the weekly Bonanza tournament, one needs to play lots of ring games during the week.
It used to pay "sweeps cash" that could be used in ring games immediately.
Now it is paying in "event tickets" that can only be used in Global tourney events.
It doesn't make much sense to me why they would do this.
As a ring game player, I hope this is just a temporary thing for Summer.

It would be fine if the tickets were for freeze outs. even low stakes rebuy events wouldnt be horrible. But giving an entry to a rebuy tourney to players who are above their roll to begin with is kind of obnoxious and goofy.

Only semi-related, but I would love to see eligibility to play in these challenge tournaments modified to allow SNG/MTT players to qualify.
