Well i havent logged into twoplustwo in years but ive reached out to global directly and they wont respond so i figured id ask publicly.... given all of the recent incidents with global poker, i am curious as to why to this day they are still publicly advertising "deposit and cashout via paypal" to new perspective players....

not sure how to post the image here maybe someone else can but the link i hosted on imgBB is below

The stickied threads in this forum still say Paypal is their processor as well. In some instances, "worldpay" has been inserted right next to paypal, as an additional credential to their sweepstakes model. They will likely continue to advertise paypal until they receive a cease and desist letter. I really don't expect much honesty from a US facing site these days.
But I had thought 2 + 2 was a bit more ethical and/or trustworthy.

Not gonna open link but I presume if it's being advertised as that, then PayPal will be back soon. Especially because in the original post of WorldPay being announced, it was announced as an additional option to be available alongside the existing PayPal option.

Yeah i really hope thats the case not because i hate worldpay, but because if not thats pretty sinister to be lying to potential new customers. Although the most likely reason for this is because they are incompetent and using old advertisements.

If PokerNews is the advertiser, as it appears to be in your screenshot OP, then it is PokerNews who is falsely advertising PayPal availability. They are likely doing this in order to get more people to sign up.

They surely have some sort of CPA (or likely a hyrbrid) deal with Global Poker where they are paid a flat fee for every depositing player (Global does not share revenue directly), and even if that player goes in expecting PayPal and can't find it, some of them will use WorldPay and voila... more money for PokerNews.

Wish you hadn't posted this it two places, generally (and by that I mean all of the time) this behavior is discouraged.

But I agree, if ads are saying Paypal is how things work, that is bad.

I am also hopeful this could mean that Paypal is coming back. But I wouldn't bet on it.

I have also pointed out in PMs to the reps about a week ago that the sticky-ed threads do mention Paypal and likely should be unsticky-ed or corrected, or deleted or updated.
