I won a $218 satellite ticket over the last month or so while grinding the Summer Series events and for some reason, the ticket couldn't be used for any of the $218 buy-ins in the Summer Series.

I played 42 $218 tournaments over the past two months but the ticket wasn't eligible to be used for any of them and expired this past Sunday. I attempted to contact support but they offered no assistance or reimbursement.

Surely this cannot be Global's policy - why run satellites for tickets that expire so quickly during a series in which you cannot use them? I'm sure this is just an oversight on their part but it should be corrected before the next high buy in series and I would like to be reimbursed with a ticket that can actually be used for all $218 events.

Anyone have this issue before?

Yes as mentioned in the OP - they refused to reimburse me. It's not like I wasn't playing high rollers / trying to use the ticket, doesn't make any sense to me.

Yes because you have to play the listed tournaments with the free ticket you have won. You can not play any other event and it does have a expiration date. I lost one as well.

Thanks David! Is there a way to make sure these tickets are eligible to be used for all $218s going forward? Not sure when you guys are planning on running another high buy-in series (like the Home or Summer series) but would be great if any tickets won would be eligible for those events.

We are starting work this week on an overhaul of our tickets infrastructure.
One of the key parts of this overhall is finding ways to give ourselves more flexibility on how we assign tickets to groups of tournaments. So, improvements are coming.

David, I'm having a similar issue.

I won a $110 ticket on Friday. never used it and saw it in my items box.
Saturday I won a Saturday Swift ticket and was auto reg'd.

Now my ticket from Friday is gone and support is inaccurately telling me I used it for the Swift.

it seems to me this should be easily understood and resolved but after 3 emails it still isn't and I'm starting to feel ripped off.
