it’s pretty funny because the 95% of the time I go on tilt is because of Jaredpoker lol. I know I have a better hand PF so I call his shoves, but he still always manages to hit a lot of the time. The most I will do is curse up a storm and slam shut my laptop, but never once thought about breaking **** over a $100 SnG lol.

I wish I could donate you some Gold coins because I have about 16 Million just sitting in my account.

Can someone explain a logical reason why there are no hand histories at all for sngs?

Better get to it!
Yes, I'm very confident that I can grind and crush SNGs. Which is why I don't want to waste my time playing gold coin games.

Lol what’s your global tag, and what do you play? And I’m surprised that that is your note on me, but I guess my 3b% is quite high

Fistacuffs is my global name. Played like 6 $15 6m hyper with you tonight. I mainly play cash games but been playing more SnGs $20 and under ($50 when I'm on tilt lol)

I know all about tilt issues, and poor BRM. I used to be horrible. Now, I'm a bankroll nit, and that doesn't change when I'm running good/bad.

Tilt, on the other hand, still is a problem for me. I used to have enormous tilt problems, but now I'm a lot better at quitting after tilt sets in. I used to torch rolls in an hour in PLO 400 after building them for months from a $50 deposit playing sngs.

Check out "The Eighthfold Path to Poker Enlightenment" by Tommy Angelo. It helped me with controlling tilt.

Good luck man! Hope to see you in some of my games soon.

I will be checking that out. I see it didn't take long for us to collide in those global streets. Good luck to you on all your tables tonight except for that one!

What's up 2+2,

Here's to my first post on the site. I'm fairly new to SnG's especially on Global. I guess I'm technically a winning player, but doesn't seem like my sample size is big enough (around 150 tournaments). I try to stick to the Huntsville games ($3.30), but get tilty when I lose and try to take shots at higher buy-ins (and usually lose). Anyone else struggle with this? Anyway, if anyone is playing these stakes and wants to talk strat/hand histories let me know.

Thanks,
Joe

LOL, I hear these stories of the legend Jaredpoker quite frequently in this subforum. That dude grinds like a mother. I respect the volume he puts in, it's pretty sick!

As for the tilt, you're a better man than I in that regard. I wish I could say I have never broken anything from poker.

Could be they are too lazy. Could be they don't care. Or, maybe they are just too lazy to care?

They are making enough money either way, so I'm sure they don't feel any pressure to change this. Pretty weak.

Hey man! That was a fun sng! I recognized you, and would have said what's up, but I was playing on my phone, and can't chat on mobile. I min-cashed that one I think, and you were still in, right? Did you ship it? See you at the tables again soon, I'm sure!

Hey, Joe! Welcome to 2+2, and to the always-interesting world known as Global Poker.

150 sngs is definitely not a large enough sample size to determine anything. However, if you're winning after 150 sngs, you have a much better chance of being a winning player than someone who is losing after that many games.

I'd say around 1,000 games, you'll have somewhat of an idea of your win rate, though it'll still have probably ~5% of a margin of error. I'm guessing here, but I'm sure someone who knows more than I will give their opinion here.

I used to increase stakes after running bad and tilting. Not anymore. My problem used to be chasing losses in PLO cash. And by PLO cash I mean putting anywhere from 25%-100% of my bankroll on the table at a time. Trust me, getting 1-outered for your whole roll is one of the worst feelings ever. But, I deserved to be taught that tough lesson. Bankroll management is everything, man. Don't let tilt affect your bankroll management. Stay accountable to your money management, and work on quitting when tilted. Even taking breaks and coming back to play a couple of hours later can save huge chunks of your roll from being torched.

Good luck, man! Thanks for introducing yourself, and see you at the tables.

Good advice. I'm working on upping the volume. I hope to post more in here and be a part of the discussion. Thanks for the response.

I played 35 sngs yesterday, which is the most I've played in one day (not including when I used to play a ton of HU sngs). Had a brutal stretch from Sunday night thru Tuesday night where I lost 21.5 buy ins over 60 sngs. Luckily, I was able to make most of that back yesterday. Bankroll management saved me from going busto.

And thankfully I got lucky enough to get 7th in the weekly $5k freeroll on Sunday for like $140. Could have been worse, but it was still a sick last few days.

What's the highest number of sngs you guys can remember playing in a day? I'm sure some guys are playing well over 100 hypers a day.

You are a sick, sick man. But, as a doctor you should know that already.

Did your brain feel wrung-out after all that?

Given that Global has no auto-pop up feature I max out at maybe 12 tables at a time, we'll guestimate 36 games an hour, so on those rare occasions I play 4 hours straight I can get about 144 games. But I'm too lazy to do this often at all.

The no pop-up feature essentially means double the mouse clicks, so my finger gets sore after too long and I have to chill.

On Stars I used to 24+ table SnGs when I was bored with cash games, I probably played 500ish a couple of days back then.

I think SnG heaters might be even more fun than cash game heaters, I feel like Denzel, I'm winning anyway, I'm winning, I'm winning any mother****in way, I can't lose. You can shoot me, but you can't kill me!

I got stacked yesterday with AA vs 99 on the A44 board no prob bros let's load more up

if you got a proper setup with multiple monitors this pop up stuff wouldn't be a problem
05-31-2018 , 03:53 PM
hmm that's a good point, I've only ever used one monitor

Dude, you are sicker than SARS, I love it. I need to get closer to your level. Tough though, since I play regular speed sngs mostly.

Question for players that multi table and use the button in the top left to auto tile your tables

I have two 22 (i think) inch monitors and when I use them it tiles 6 on a screen fine. But when I go up to 7,8 or 9 tables on a screen it gets a little bit too small.. What size monitors do you use? And when using the auto tile button are the tables big enough?

Mine are playable on the 22 inch but I have to lean forward to see it better =/
