I suppose I'll start off today giving you some of it back lol.

That bvb KJ9 flop was fun, think you'd ever find a fold there with my KQ?

I don't know what I'm doing so anything is possible

what are some thoughts on this downswing from some of the more experienced Hyper players here? also relevant that 900$ of it was running abysmal in a small sample size of 22 70$ Hypers

also what's your Global name insitefull?

12-19-2018 , 10:20 AM
Very standard and it can be much worse. Instead of running bad for 22 games at the $70 level, you could run bad for thousands of games.

Here's a simulation using your games played/avg buyin:
This is using a 5% ROI

Brat, my guy, if you're making any post referencing what is happening over 22 hypers you're in for a world of hurt!

Will someone with a subscription tell me if I'm even profitable in hypers? I have no idea. They are always mixed in with regulars and turbos.

2.5% roi, $0.93/game. Only 560 games though.

Thank you! That tells me it isn't some huge leak so far, all I needed to know. I'll keep mixing them in when it's slow.

I played regulars and turbos for years when I first played full-time so never really worry about those. This is the first time I've played hypers.

Was waiting for a $6 full-ring sng to fill and was one of two players registered. Then, two players popped in: Deadluck and DEAD84LUCK. Thought it was kinda strange, but probably nothing. DEAD84LUCK played his first sng on Global on 12/22/18, and has played 5 total. The other one has been on since 11/17/18 and has played 50 sngs.

Like I said, I figured it was a coincidence at first. But they both are really new to the site, and both registered the same sng at the same time. People can’t be that oblivious in an attempt to multi-account, right? Could be nothing, but it’s weird for sure. What do you guys think?

7/8 games in common for the lesser played of the two, seems suspicious to me.
12-23-2018 , 01:49 PM
It's too obvious. Almost certainly 2 family members wanting to play poker together and don't even know it could be taken the wrong way.
12-23-2018 , 06:05 PM
LOL if youre gonna collude at least use different screen names
12-24-2018 , 05:08 AM
Yea, it's probably just two naive/ignorant friends/family members not knowing what they're doing.

The other day my personal friend suggested the same thing, without knowing it's an illegal thing, LOL. (I of course said no).
12-24-2018 , 05:29 AM
Just to be clear, there is nothing wrong with 2 friends playing in the same game as long as they are not colluding.
12-24-2018 , 06:34 AM
True. He did specifically say "to help each other out", so that got a no from me.

Just curious, what blind levels do your guys' hyper-turbos usually end at, and what stakes?
12-30-2018 , 02:44 PM
Hello all,

I'm gironella on global poker. Just started playing hyperturbos on global, 5-15 levels. I played a bit on ignition but don't like the anonymous feature, it's much more interesting to see who your opponents are.

My impression for hypers (5-15) is that they usually end at 160, with 120 and 200 being the next most common. 250 is rarer, as is 80, but they both happen.

This is my experience as well - at all stakes.

Looks like I'll finish the month 1st in profit in the 15$, 30$, and 50$ Hypers. Could have grinded so much harder too, but I was still working but I just quit.

2019 is gonna be full time playing live and Global Hypers. It will be a good balance and keep things fresh. If any of the good Hyper Regs want to talk theory and such, let me know, I'm just learning as I go
12-30-2018 , 11:47 PM
gl on the full-time grind. let's hope these overraked games don't get too reggy next year.
