As a cash player its a whole different level of variance in s&g and thankfully in the past I was a beast at 50/50 (self proclaimed) so I understand how swingy it is playing 10 BB bubbles against players who have no idea what optimal play is in these scenario, not saying Im near optimal, but getting it in with 60-40 65-35 type odds consistently has to have an optimal outcome, if I keep playing...
The “variance” I’ve experienced on this site is... weird.
I’ve lost 10 of my 12 SNGs today. The KO hands were a bit ridiculous.
Two of those times I was crushed. Can’t complain.
Four of those I was all in w/ KK against KQ (yes exactly KK vs. KQ) (85%)
Another of those was KK against J9s (79%)
Another was AA against 32s. (83%)
Another was QQ against 33. (81%)
Two others were pocket pair to one overcard. (67%)
And that’s just today. I’m not one for rigged conspiracies or anything, but my goodness. Granted there have been hands of mine that have held up, but I’m definitely losing with dominant hands at a much higher rate than one would expect.
