Spork has cheated in the past. Maybe you got red-flagged for associating with him. IDK much about the details.

In this thread alone you have admitted to violating Global's TOS in at least two separate ways:

1. No "professionals" are allowed to play on Global.

2. Even using solver software to study is against the TOS.

Bottom line: Methinks you is toast.

He's already back playing on the site.

So if no pro is allowed to play how come the accounts that are up 200k plus that bum hunt are allowed to play? Just curious..

1. The TOS doesn't define "professional." It's a sufficiently vague/nebulous "restriction" that would allow Global to basically ban anybody making a lot of money if they chose to.

2. Is "bum hunting" against the TOS? Arguably, choosing to play on Global instead of Ignition or ACR could be considered one big bum hunt.

Methinks I'm a terrible prognosticator.

(On that point: The first newspaper article I got published [which was in 1992] was me arguing why President Bush would win re-election over his Democrat challenger Bill Clinton.)

Bottom line: There are at least two players who we know for a fact have violated the TOS still playing on Global.

Could the Global rep here please provide a comprehensive list of those players known to have violated the TOS so the rest of us can decide whether or not we wish to play at the same table with those folks? Thanks.

Where does it say that? That would be incredibly stupid if true.

I'll chime in on some things here and then not use poker forums because they're uh...quite the trollfest to say the least.

1. I did not report portemilio

2. SuurTuur and another commenter giving him praise are people I've known as well, they're not his alts.

3. A liveplay doesn't prove anyones' innocence, I have no clue why anyone believes a liveplay proves/disproves anything. Anyone who was using rta can just record themselves not using it for one session and are probably competent enough to make a good looking video. ALL online poker literally should have monitoring software that detects what is open programs-wise and internet browser tabs wise.

4. Being a professional/not being a professional either cannot be enforced by global or isn't even close to being enforced by global. Let's just say with the definition of "plays well enough/often enough to make their living off of poker", there are at the very least 50 mid-high stakes players that qualify in plo alone. Whether they're actually good or not is another question, but are at least good enough to farm global american recs.

From what I can tell, T&C doesn't say "no professionals", it says "for recreational and entertainment purposes only." So who's to say what you are doing is for recreation and entertainment or not.

A browser based site can't really do that. AFAIK there is no way for the site to detect what other programs you're running outside of your browser.
