Just saw that my monthly deposit limit is $12,000 for the month.

Not sure how they can tell someone how much they can lose every month. Pretty ridiculous. If people want to set their own limits that's a different story.

This is going to kill 5/10 and 3/6 for sure. Fish will tear through 12k easy and won't be allowed to play, in turn games won't run and fish will go elsewhere to play.

First they take away 10-20 and now this. Get a clue Global!!

3/6 is a dead stake anyway. They just need to remove it and make 2/4 2/5. Also they probably can't explain someone buying more than 12,000 dollars a month in GCs.

OP if you reach your $12,000 deposit limit for the month feel free to bank wire me the rest you want to lose.

It's not that hard to go on a 12 buy in downswing playing 5-10 online. Easy for fish to do. Even easier for whales.

Is it the same for everyone?

I just checked and mine is 12k/month so I'm guessing it's the same across the board.

Regs who have played enough on the site to be known as regs by the site, shouldn't need to be making big deposits.

Unless you mean the bad regs, of which there are many. Increase their limits immediately imo.

Its probably something they are doing to stop regs who had black friday trauma from cashing everything out and re depositing the next day. With a limit they wont be able to do that no more. they will have to leave some of the funds on the site. I leave all my funds for iggy, acr and bol on nano ledger and only put on what i am gonna play that day. I don't blame anyone for taking all the money off and re depositing the next day I have had fund taken from me so i get it.

Anyone get their deposit limit lifted?

Also losing 10-15bi at nl600-1k isn't that uncommon.

I'd imagine this is much more an issue of regs, recycling deposits and withdrawals. If you are a winning player, you aren't a poker sites customer, you're their business partner. Moving money back and forth is expensive for the site especially in the US

I don’t agree with that. I’ve always tried to keep as little as possible on the site so historically I’ve done many deposits/withdrawals.(I have a billion gold coins bc of this). I’d imagine since they no longer charge for withdrawals they put this in place to keep regs from doing this. This will also increase liquidity for the site and I doubt player funds are being segregated from operating funds.

If it’s an effort to prevent fish from losing as quickly I don’t think it’s a good idea. I can’t see a fish waiting weeks to deposit, they would most likely just fire on Ignition/acr/chico if forced to. Site is just missing out on the rake they would’ve gained from the game running around them.

While I agree with this statement, I seriously doubt this is their motivation. I'm sure they have the metrics on losing players spending habits. I'd guess that 99% of their recreational players wouldn't come anywhere close to the 12K monthly limit.
