They are 15 minutes for the first 4 levels and 12 minutes for the rest.

On a further note, sharkscope didn't record my 2nd in the $25k. Kinda frustrating they just happen to miss my 3rd biggest cash of the year.

They randomly missed a 5k win on mine months ago. Odd how it randomly happens.

Just fyi chrisp, this isn't an official thread of any sort, so while it's fine for you to state improvements you would like to see, I have no idea if someone from global will actually see them.

They also missed the 50k on Sunday, but picked up all the smaller ones, so I wonder if it is entirely random or if it has trouble with the high buy-in ones sometimes. It makes the leaderboard kind of a crapshoot though. Doesn't really matter, I just use it as one of my motivations to keep playing regularly.

And yeah, I knew how to play before Global. I hadn't played for 5 years though so I wanted to start out slow and stress free. So I started playing with the free $2 they give you. At the single table tournament forum we came up with the $2 challenge, see how much you can grow the $2 without ever depositing. I won. I've still never deposited at global. Even though it is largely luck in the beginning stages I am most proud of that accomplishment in poker, although it cost me lots of opportunity cost spending that much time in the micros. I honesty didn't know if I could still win though it has been so long, so I didn't mind starting slow.

Just started playing MTTs on Global and am enjoying the games but have one major annoyance.

Every time I register a new tournament, I have to manually click open table once the tournaments starts. Same thing happens when I'm moved tables in the middle of the tournament. I use google chrome with ad block pro. Is this the culprit? Anyone have this issue / what browser are people using?

I ran the initial $2 up to around 80k - just recently deposited.

Just realized I don't even have an ad blocker. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

I've never run into that problem. I would definitely try a different browser. That might be your easiest solution.

I wouldn't even consider that a deposit really. We learned a long time ago it isn't safe leaving tons of money on poker sites. Having to put in money you took out during a bad downswing just means you weren't using the pokersite as a bank to hold all your assets. I haven't had to do that yet, but if I do I'll still probably go off net deposit.
