Yea people who came up recently have it too easy. He came up in 2006-10, when you needed to be a special/talented kind of player.

Those 3 I try to actively avoid. Have some concerns about 2 and 3 with regards to maybe having some 'help', but most likely they are just much better players than I am.

Also for the lolz, have a pic somewhere of donk4life being biggest 10/20 winner when they still had it. If he did that with his current playing style then I guess I really don't know much about poker.
don't worry, none of these guys are cheating in any way, shape or form lol

bbrown 100% not cheating.

Yea I don’t think those 3 are using RTA.

I see in Global chat whenever a reg disappears there's talk of some ban wave. People also saying it in this thread and others. I left the Global discord cause it was way too autistic but I assume there's speculation there. I even saw in chatbox some fish suggesting a banwave of regs had occurred because there weren't many games running but there were 25 tables of SSNL or something.

I don't think anyone was banned in 2020. The last two Decembers there were banwaves (for the hand history downloaders, seat scripts, botring). That's what happened. I wonder how many people thought I got banned because I took time off and played live...

Yeah but it’s not cyclical. In all those cases global was just reacting to reports from players.
02-05-2020 , 04:40 PM
I emailed global yesterday about a player I thought had very suspicious tendencies and they emailed me back calling me a rigtard and basically sent me some stuff about their RnG and how it works like I'm some sort of idiot. They're convinced no cheating is possible to go on within their website which is honestly scarier than them even just lying to me and telling me they'd at least look into it LOL. No cheating happens at global guys, don't worry, it's impossible!

What tendencies were very suspicious?
Can you post the email?

thats not information that would be beneficial to be public until i

1. have bigger sample
2. can analyze the play more in depth

but the POINT was that they didnt even take me seriously which seems pretty absurd. they quite literally just gave me a quote about how the RNG works when i was giving a SPECIFIC player name for them to look into and WHY i wanted them to.

and btw ive never reported a player after 1.5mil hands of playing online so it's not like this is a regular thing from me, they are just SO confused nobody could EVER be cheating on their site which is quite interesting to me

From my experiences they take reports pretty seriously, maybe you went the wrong way about it?

Those three are definitely doing some kind of suspicious ****. They've all been suspended before for using illegal software too. I'm sure something new has come around since that they also started to use.

Hopefully Global bans these and some others soon.

So I made the final table of a MTT recently and excitedly went to the other room to tell my wife, which reminded me of when I first played hold em. Literally the 1st time, we’re in Vegas for a bachelor party and had a private 2 table tourney up in the suite, with strippers, professional dealers etc. I had no idea how to play but somehow outlasted 8 other drunken idiots and made it to the “final table”. I was so excited that I bragged to my wife when I got home about how I made the final table and must have revealed some long hidden talent.

I know, cool story bro, but I’d love to hear what other “revelations” people had when they first started out that in retrospect are truly laughable. It’s one of the things that I love about this game - every time you think you know something you dig a little deeper and can find things that make your approach or view seem quaint or obsolete.

Figured I’d give us a break from outing bots and cheaters .

Naming and shaming accounts without evidence itt isn’t helping anyone and isn’t allowed on 2p2. Anyone with concerns about a player/players should open a zen desk ticket and forward all relevant info to global security.

We should be calling people out for extreme bumhunting and predatory behavior that will disincentivize recreational players from playing on Global. I’m sure there are some regs playing here who haven’t been around that long and see others behaving this way and assume it’s all right. We have an opportunity to openly discuss what’s ok and what isn’t in terms of etiquette that will be very visible to current regs and people who come down the road.

Some things we shouldn’t be doing:

-table camping: I see regs when a rec busts sit out immediately after the free hands but remain at the table seeing if the rec will return/reload or see if another fish will take the available seat. If you don’t want to play the game any longer bc the fish isn’t playing that’s your prerogative but leave the table so someone else is able to play if they’d like.

-blocking seats: some recs will sit out too long trying to deposit or w/e and be booted from the table. I’ve seen regs take the seat but sit out without the intention of playing to funnel the rec into a different table.

-matching rec players exact stack: this is just blatant predatory behavior that anyone would notice.

-leaving the table and returning shortly to get position on rec: again really noticeable predatory behavior no one would appreciate.

Most honorable regs ime on the site in no particular order have been:

jimmythegent
Farmslicer7
mountaindew14
Mr.poopy
Stroggoz
blackpeople
cuseman78

Prob some others I’m forgetting atm

So ultimate offender of acting "dishonorably" is feijoida. I really encourage others to make a zendesk ticket about him.

I agree with Apex and I think most regs are pretty honorable.

@neipai98 you have a keeper if your wife cares when you FT a tourney on Global =p

I saw a player mention this on tables last night, not sure if that’s you or not.

Feij constantly tries to get headsup games with fish but will sit out pretty quickly when game gets 3 handed even when 3rd player is a whale. He doesn’t play a full table for very long either regardless of how good the game is. I find this to be pretty strange.

Yep - Bae Won or something like that is similar. Whatevs, while annoying, I’d be surprised if their tactics are overly profitable to them or detrimental to the overall ecosystem.

Hah, she’s a keeper for a lot of reasons, but she is an all-star Poker supporter and this was one of the few MTT’s on GP where final tabling is worth it, so we were both pumped.

It is super profitable what bae_yeonsoo and Feijoda do at the tables and EXTREMELY detrimental to the overall ecosystem.

Congrats on the FT then. =p

Is a bit risky on GP sometimes given the size of the prizepools to say congrats...

You’re right of course - I just rarely see them getting action, so that was why I was mentioning the overall effect as being small. But I do stand corrected.

Agreed on prize pools - this was one of the big Sunday events so enough to spew to ya’ll in cash, lol.

Its hilarious people think there is good regs on global. If they are using any kind of software they better return it for a refund. what is this nonsense about this iamgto guy? i used to bum hunt him and he would sit out against me. So hes not using anything. I was bum hunting the guy when I played on it. 100% guarantee hes real player. No doubt in my mind. If you have hard time with him you better go play on pogo cause trust me on this global has the worst regs of any online site. There is no further down the ladder you can go online to find worse players. They are worse then iggy players. Its amazing you guys trust the tables wont freeze and take your money and then hope global will pay you back. You sitting midstakes and then 2-3k is gone from freezing. GL getting it back. I would be more worried about software then the players.
