Haven’t seen one of these so thought I’d try starting it. Thread for Global Poker regs at 200nl and above (one could argue if 200nl is MSNL but given the small player pool and that most players at these stakes are at 200nl and 500nl anyway, that seemed like a good cut off).

I don’t play HU at 500nl, and am judicious about doing so at 200nl. I’ll play regs there during peak hours to get games started but have no interest in doing so for more than a few minutes. No ego here - I know where my money is made .

Thoughts on table starting and the health of the games.

- I’d like to respectfully encourage folks to sit at short handed games in an effort to get them going. Some folks don’t like to play heads up, but generally speaking you can get a game going in just a few minutes and you really don’t need to play heads up for more than a few. I’m far from a heads up expert, so I may give up some EV for a few minutes, but it usually gets paid back since you often attract fish and the game ends up being pretty decent for awhile. Mostly referring to full ring here as opposed to 6-max, but I would guess the same applies there as well.

- With that said, I’ll give no action to the guys who are sitting on 3 empty tables, or if there are two bum hunters sitting on empty tables who won’t play each other (e.g., xxxBaeYoensxxx or xxxFreijolxxx etc). Not even sure why they do this since it seems to be so rare that they even get action since I would think even the fish can figure it out.

Long story short, don’t be shy about helping to start tables and don’t give action to bum hunters .
