https://login.auth.poker/login

It's times like this, I really wish this site had a support phone number.
10-03-2019 , 09:40 AM
Try a different web browser, Chrome and Firefox are the best.
10-03-2019 , 10:12 AM
****. Mine did that too. I didn't realize it was a phishing site
10-03-2019 , 10:14 AM
the site wont load for my on chrome desktop anymore. It works on my phone....
10-03-2019 , 10:38 AM
Got me out of 2+2 retirement to find out what is going on. I am not yet convinced that it is a phishing scam, but I am also not convinced it isn't.

At this point, I am wondering if they just changed their back-end to someone else, but I am also not sticking my username and password in there until I hear what is going on and you would think they would put something up here were that the plan to switch the backend.

i literally came here to ask the same question. the login screen is different and looks fishy. i emailed support and waiting on a reply
i def recommend no one login until we get a response their just no reason to risk it

This is the Whois record, which is ownership information assoticated to a website

Domain Name: AUTH.POKER

Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientTransferProhibited
Domain Status: serverTransferProhibited https://icann.org/epp#serverTransferProhibited
Registrant Organization: VGW Holdings Ltd
Registrant State/Province: NSW
Registrant Country: AU

DNSSEC: unsigned
URL of the ICANN Whois Inaccuracy Complaint Form is https://www.icann.org/wicf/
>>> Last update of WHOIS database: 2019-10-03T14:38:32Z <<<

Notice two things.
1. Creation date: 2019-08-13T02:15:11Z - That is over a month and a half ago, and were this a phishing scam normally those time frames are days long not months long.
2. Registrant Organization: VGW Holdings Ltd
Registrant State/Province: NSW
Registrant Country: AU
That is the company that owns Global.

All of this comes from (in case you wanted to see it for yourself):
https://www.name.com/whois-lookup/auth.poker

With that said, for this to be a scam it would need to be a long con (trust me a month and a half is really long in internet con schemes)

AND

The scammer would need to put in the correct registrant info because they would be worried nerds like me would go poke around at it.

So does this mean it is 100% for sure legit? Nope. But it seems much more likely to be a mistake in PR not putting out the info as supposed to this being something malicious.

I will throw caution to the wind, I use a unique password for all of my website logins and the money on Global won't change my life so I will jump in the pool and see if they get me,

BUT

I am greeted with this error

"There could be a misconfiguration in the system or a service outage. We track these errors automatically, but if the problem persists feel free to contact us.
Please try again. "

Thanks splayaa, that is good info. Maybe it's not a phishing scam after all...

I wish their customer support responses didn't take... like 10-12 hours.
10-03-2019 , 10:50 AM
And now, when I go back to the link and login, I get in just fine, but I am on the old domain. This smells ALOT like a test of a change they didn't intend to do.
10-03-2019 , 10:52 AM
My work also blocks anything from login.auth.poker... so I might not
be able to play from work any more... sigh
10-03-2019 , 10:54 AM
Yep, logged in fine now, playing at a 10NL table, everything seems to be fine, although I understand others remaining skeptical.

Good to hear from you, again, Splayaa!

Hope you're doing good on the digital felt.

10-03-2019 , 11:03 AM
It looks legit to me, if I didn't see this thread I'd have likely logged in without concern.

That said, if it is a phishing scam, the look is much cleaner and it would be my hope that the phishermen also develop gameplay software as well.

Thanks lagtight, good hearing from you too. I miss some of the people on here for sure including yourself.
10-03-2019 , 11:24 AM
Mine is still coming up error contact support, is there something I need to do to login?
10-03-2019 , 11:54 AM
seems legit but obviously super sketchy looking
10-03-2019 , 12:04 PM
I plugged my log in info successfully and got redirected to the tables. Hope someone doesn't steal my hard-earned 4 million goldcoins.
10-03-2019 , 12:12 PM
i tried the 'login from facebook' and that brought up the screen to re-verify my country and screen name. But now only a 'new' registrant screen seems to come up. Will wait and see.
10-03-2019 , 12:49 PM
So were are all the reg's who are quick to jump in and bash anyone who questions the RNG or the slow payouts and no customer service. When there is a real problem they hide. Even the Global rep. doesn't show up.
10-03-2019 , 01:16 PM
So, when this initially happened, I sent them a support request to lock my account,
because I was afraid my login/password was compromised by a phishing scam.

Then, when i realized that it looks like they changed their login screen (and login host domain), I updated the ticket to tell them not to lock my account.

So, a few minutes ago, I'm playing 8 tables, and I get locked out in the middle of all my hands. !@#%^&@#%^&@#%&@%#^

Of course no response from customer support at all.
10-03-2019 , 01:20 PM
i Can't even get in to play tables.
10-03-2019 , 01:25 PM
Everyone that logins with email must be able to play, everyone with a Facebook account linked cannot, sounds correct?
