Last night, i sat down a .02/.04 no limit 6-man cash game.

I was playingTight/Aggressive. Raising good cards at good times in good spots, However though I was constantly called down by a guy named "madluck".

Over and Over again, this guy would call me down and some how beat me every single time. This went on for hours and hours.

This guy was position next to me, to act after me.

So when I got cards such as ATs+ / ATo+ / High PP the guy would just instantly fold, but before hand he'd call down like every single raise I made, even if he was second to act.

Legit, every single time rather if he was going up against me or against someone else this ****ing donk would out flop us or just hit by the river.

One hand I remember playing against this guy was he had J8o and I had 89s.

I raised like 6 BB pre-flop, because I knew he would call and I figured **** I'm probably ahead at this point.

So he Snap Calls.

Board comes Ts Qh 2s

I Pot Bet and the guy snap calls.

Turn is a blank, like a 5c or something of that nature.

I yet again, Bet the Pot, and this guy calls.

Can you guess what the river is? Ah

SO, since i've missed it all here and I knew this guy wasn't on an ace. I decided I was going to JAM Him all in to get him to fold. I Was Repping something like AQs AQo KQs the entire hand honestly.

This guy sits there and things about it for a moment and calls with nothing to have a high card J over me to take down the pot and beat me.


This is the same guy who isn't missing pots or anything and it's ridiculous.

Needless too say, after being down -400 from this site, and being +2000 from the site I began playing poker on, this Global Poker is a ****ing Joke and if I were you I'd avoid it at all costs.


However, I do need a new site to play poker.

If you need a new site to play why not go back to the one where you are up 2k?

That site I was on changed ownership or something. It's not the same as it used to be. I'm looking for a more well-known site anyways.

If you're playing blinds that low, people will call with anything. Nobody cares about a few dollars. If you want some of the stupidity to stop, play much higher stakes.

If I'm up 2K on another site I'm probably not going to be playing 4NL....

You should move up in stakes so people will respect you when you raise. And, please post your screen name so we all know who to respect. Thanks

You don't like somebody on your left just change the table. There are like 25 NL4 tables running at most times. What is the problem to play on another one.

I don't want to get too far into details of a particular player on here unless I suspect it's a bot and have good evidence.

The player your talking about can absolutely lose hands. Trust me.

You have to remember the maddening thing about 4NL at Global is that there are tons of players like this, they never fold.. and it can feel like they get fed river rescues quite often.

Whether or not the cards are being dealt in a legit matter there is a separate conversation. But with regards to this specific player, I've sat with him... seen his chat... and I don't suspect anything beyond questionable poker decisions.

Side question....

Nick, what stake do you think this starts to change? I've only gone up to .10/.20 but honestly didn't notice much difference in play.

If you play 100nl and higher that is where you can enjoy taking on the tags and lags where its reg infested. Lets see how much you enjoy that. Even 50nl pretty reg infested you can probably start at that limit to see if you like it better then playing vs a lp fish that gives you action. I don't know what more you can ask for if got a calling station fish playing a ton of pots with you.

You'd likely be better off re-examining your game if you're down $400 playing 4NL. Hopefully the bolded spots give you a clue as to at least one mistake you're making (and likely making a lot): trying to bluff calling stations. There's plenty of them at the micros, get used to it.

50NL+ is pretty reg infested.

I actually recently moved down to 20NL because the level of play between the two is miles apart and I can make more 10 tabling 20NL.

*NOTE: I will admit to running like aids at 50NL.

Move up to where they respect your raises.

Appreciate the kind words. After cashing out my Global bankroll to degen it away in Vegas last month, I've grinded +700 at 20NL, just waiting to pass the 1k mark before taking a shot at 50NL again.

It's so nice playing 20NL actually because I'm having winning sessions about 95% of the time on auto-pilot, the play is that bad, lol.

I am playing NL50 as well. Saw only couple of solid regs there. A lot of other regs are highly exploitable.

im curious who you guys think the solid regs are at 50NL..ive played many hands against all of you (nio,BC, netellier) and it seems like you should be crushing these stakes IMO. Little confused here... are you guys just getting murdered by the rake?

I won about 6k at 50NL but was cashing out all my profits and already spent all the profit. Was playing with a 1K bankroll and went on a disastrous downswing to the point of almost becoming one of those conspiracy theorists calling GP rigged lol.

Built it back up at 20NL, got back to 50NL, then boom another huge downswing at 50NL.
