I agree that not having Fast Fold hurts them, probably just don't have the player volume for it to run but it's the main reason I play on Ignition/ACR over Global. Not being able to save your hand histories in any way is also a major killer. I understand they don't want HUDs but they could do like Ignition and release anonymous hand histories after a period of time. People want to be able to see their results and study their play.

Most regs also play other sites that do allow you to study your own play. Global does not incentivize regs to play exclusively here.

I like to make small adjustments to my strategy depending on where I play. I like that it is harder for people to improve at the place that I play when there is less information to study.

That’s good that you like it. I wouldn’t have an issue with it if they were able to prevent people from using HUDs and data mining. As it stands the few regs who are willing to do so get a substantial increase in winrate and the rule abiders get screwed. The site still benefits greatly from the policy bc non cheating regs will cash out less and fish will lose more slowly overall.

Global doesn't have enough players to have fast fold games.

New beta is mega garbage. Pretty sad this was all they could make in two years.

PLO8 should be 6 handed. More tables would be running and people generally dont like to play Omaha more than 6 handed.

I agree it should be changed - make it 9 handed. A split pot game will be bette having more players, not fewer.

I did receive a refund in sept 2020 from the banwave of regs using HUD(all except for 1 account were playing PLO afaik).
Given the sites history I’d say that was mostly likely because someone submitted evidence of those accounts wrongdoing and global was not proactive in catching them on their own.

tbh I've assumed a specifc PLO bumhunter who snap-joins a table then *consistently* sits out for several orbits before dealt a hand (along with playing musical chairs) is using a HUD or datamining of some sort. Can't prove the HUD of course but the accompanying behavior of switching to more advantageous seats sounds the alarms.

why does the replayer no longer show your own cards when you go to the link? I can understand no longer being able to see other players cards for a HH once they have also accessed the replayer, but your own...? Is this a brilliant new update or just a glitch?

Nah, split-pot games must be more than 6-handed. I think 8-handed is perfect.

echoing what others have said--- Strongly prefer the "Old felt" vs new felt. Tried playing for a bit with the new felt today and really disliked it. The aspect ratio of the tables are not great, random buttons appear before it's your turn that make it seem like it IS your turn (they are preset buttons for before it's your turn to act) , the buttons for betting are TOO SMALL. Aside from adding a 1/2 and 3/4 pot button, I don't understand what is better about the "new" design.

Played full session with new felt.

Pros:
-addition of 3/4 pot button
-addition of sitout next bb

Cons:
-additional mouse click is now necessary to topup
-vertical slider when table is smaller. It takes up the same amount of space, makes it difficult to read text. This is a poor design choice for the same reason putting the text upside down or backwards would be. People read left to right.
-no longer able to turn off animations?

Kudos for the promotions when they happen, but for this Summer Splash level 1-4 for example, is there a way to find out where we stand on these, maybe like how the # of hands played for the Weekly Bonanza shows up on the right side?

Promotions like these are ones I often find the most confusing, personally.

But the top up only kicks in at a max 95bb, and sitting with 95bb is losing money compared to sitting with 100. “Topping” this up to 100 is an annoyance, but apparently a specific choice by Global for whatever reason.
