That's exactly what they do. It's incorrect and several of us have told them that already, but they haven't changed it nor acknowledged it would be changed. I agree it's kind of silly when there's a big disparity in chips. Like player 1 has 250K, P2 has 150K, and P3 has 20K... if they play a 3 way all in and P1 wins, player 2 should get 2nd place money and player 3 gets 3rd by virtue of the chip stacks. It makes sense, P3 is "out of chips first" or in a sense was "all in" first because he's shorter.

At any rate, now that you know the way GP does it is split 2nd and 3rd place money evenly between 2 and 3, you can think about what strategy adjustments you want to make in those spots. The problem is since literally no other tournament venue live or online does it the way GP does, it catches everyone by surprise the first time. In the above scenario P2 may not be willing to commit his entire stack knowing it will cost him 2nd place money if he busts with P3, where as everywhere else P2 is factoring into their decision that if they bust simultaneously he's still got the 2nd place payday.

Global should really include this information in their tourney rules at least. Or, more logically, fix the programming to pay these spots out the same way everyone else does.

You are talking about starting stacks, right? I can't find a single tourney that starts with 25bb or less. Even the daily turbo starts with 2000 chips at 20-40 blinds (50bb).

SNG's all seem to start with 25bb's, 1000 chips at 20-40 so maybe you meant are there any SNG's with more than 25bb (I don't think so).

There's gotta be a better way to do disconnects. I was disconnected mid-hand, reconnected with plenty of time to act, but given no action buttons. I refreshed my browser two times before time ran out, and I was folded mid-hand. Obviously, I'm steaming because I was way ahead and the stacks are so short in the weekly Gold Coin tournament that it essentially destroyed my game. But also there needs to be a better system to reconnect a player with time left to act. Especially for a browser-based game, otherwise it's a huge disincentive for players to put in the time to see 200 flops and put up $33 for a game in which their chances of being disconnected without viable reconnection are > 50%. What a waste of time.

I haven't seen that requested, and have to say, that should be allowed. And am also realizing my password needs improvement.

Tiling tables in pro mode makes them smaller than necessary. and when they are made too small, like when you have 9 going at once, it removes the ability to click 'no more blinds', so you have to manually make each table bigger to find the no more blinds button. It's a slight annoyance for taking breaks between sessions, and can be fixed with a 'no more blinds on all tables' button, or making the tiling better/more economical.

Downloadable hand histories would be nice as well

Not sure how to find a detailed list of rake structure. is 2 handed rake heavy as 6 max? Also there are no heads up tables. Why?

Global,

I just noticed that I could go to just globalpoker.com and not use https. Chrome did not remember my login information which is what alerted me to something being strange. Could you have your web guru set the redirect on http to always force the connection to move over to https? Its pretty straight forward for most website software and I think would just be an easy and super smart feature to have in place.

Thanks for the great site,

The issues others had this morning seems directly linked to this issue.

I keep getting sent to a non https version where I can't log in and I have to physically type in https// and the URL to get to the secure site and be able to log in.

does it matter if it's erect or flaccid?

I like the mtt structure but I would suggest a bigger add-on for rebuys than just the rebuy amount.

It would be cool to get some deepstack non-rebuy tournaments going even if they aren't GTDs

Has anyone else run into a bug where you sit out and click the leave button but it doesn't seem to remove you from the table? I've noticed that sometimes the amount from the last table I close doesn't end up in my balance and if I refresh the lobby the table pops up and I'm still seated. Am I doing something wrong?
