Just Bc regs are playing does not mean it isn’t being discouraged. Imagine the exact same game conditions you are describing but instead of $5.50 it’s $50 or $500 rake cap. If regs chose to play in that environment would that mean that their action isn’t being discouraged?

I'm sure this has been said, but having tournaments all go on break at different times makes it feel like there's no break at all.

It's either impossible or very hard to focus on browser windows these days. I wouldnt count on that happening being that its browser based.

yeah, once games get past hu with its high rake, I've seen and played in a couple 6 reg games at 200, 400, and 600, although a couple regs at these tables are gonna be of the soft variety (including myself, afaik)

I love playing in super tough games where I'm highly likely to be -ev. I usually end up learning something, and it helps to break the monotony of battling fish. Doesn't happen a lot on Global, but anyway, money's just money, big deal.

Also it's pretty soothing to the old ego when a game breaks and you're the only one left at the table. Especially because sometimes I'm still fishy as hell at nl cash as I learn this game that is infinitely more nitty than LHE.

Also, on that last note, why don't all nl cash games have antes? It induces significantly more action for everyone, one tabling fish would presumably get less bored, and more hands would see flops so Global gets additional rake. Everyone wins. What am I missing?

I don’t think 1-tabling fish would properly adjust to antes, and would net lose money faster (then again, most fish are already too loose, so who knows).

yes. losing players would lose faster, winning players would win faster.

Probably just because the games are bigger, but playing tighter than most is a good way to beat almost any cash game and antes remove that edge for pros.

Playn tight is the most basic exploit beginning players learn. There are many ways for strategies that are looser to be higher EV than tight strategies. That said - antes will make the games more profitable for sites and pros. It will literally bleed the economy unless there is fresh blood pumped in at a good clip. Not syaing it couldn't happen and tbh I am all for antes, but I will say what you are said is not correct.

It's impossible to play multiple tables without this. This is a must along with synchronized breaks.

hey so today i sat a table HU where the other guy decided to sit out. it posted my SB since i was button and the other guy never posted BB. we didnt play a hand. i sat out as well but it didnt give me my SB back. even more odd was when a third guy came but he got the button and i was now the bb. i posted 1.5bbs. it wasnt a visual bug because the amount i had to call treated my bb as if it was 1.5bbs. also when i folded i did not get that .5bb back. basically theres some weird bug where when u post and the other guy doesnt it just keeps ur money in the middle. also can i get my 1bb back since it happened twice once the other guys sat out again. lol
