In multi table. I have click in the table before I choose a bet. +1 for tourney hand history. I would love a way to have the dealer button to not be over the bet amount.

Re: Global Poker Improvement Thread

Have you guys thought of adding some more of the 4 handed NL games in? Right now I only see them for 50NL and below. A lot of quick action for the site and I'd like to start some games there compared to HU or 6-max above 50NL.

Thanks GP!

Post the starting stack size for tournaments.

BTW: are there any tournaments with more than 25BBs?

Just getting back to grinding after a long hiatus and right now I'm only on Global. Hopefully with threads like this the site will continue to improve and I don't have to jump through hoops to grind on any other sites. I am just seeing this thread now, but this is definitely a couple I have noticed and agree with. Will post more ideas as they come to me.

During tournaments, where it shows your chip position, include how many players remain.

YOUR CHIP POSITION: 77/109

Re: Global Poker Improvement Thread

Hand histories for tournaments and Sit&Gos are imperative as they are the only impartial evidence that we have for what has happened in the past.

A friend was playing last night, and he insists that a hand was erroneously given to his foe. My friend may simply be mistaken, or there may be a bug in the system; the only way we can be sure is to have histories available to us.

This is due to volume in regards to his winrate. If you are 20 tabling especially without a hud you are going to make more mistakes and miss more information on average then if you were...lets say 4 tabling.

A good reg would have an advantage over most rec players still, but their advantage increases more if they play less tables. Its easier to make better decisions the less tables you are playing. Putting in volume just helps overcome the variance in the game especially in tournaments, but in cash tables playing less tables becomes a advantage to reg players imo. To me its about focus and decision making that separates reg from rec, but its just my opinion.

1) Re-sizable tables
2) Filtered lobby
3) Bet amounts out to 2 digits (.80 instead of .8).
4) Synchronized breaks
5) Sitting out for players disconnected instead of every time it comes back around to them, using all of their available time.
6) Showing overall # of rebuys used in tourney lobby.

Yes, their advantage would definitely increase but by what margin and against how many recs?
Lets say average winrate for a reg on this site is 5bb/100 playing 20 tables and playing 100 hands/hour on each table to make the math easy. This reg is pulling 100bbs off the tables each hour. Now multiply this by the number of regs sitting at the same tables and imagine how many recs are losing stacks. They will eventually stop returning.
Same reg limited to say 6 tables somehow manages to double his average to 10bbs/hour. He is now pulling 60bbs/hour off the tables and is playing a higher percentage of recreational players. The recs will play longer because they have a fighting chance of winning something even if it is short term. It will keep them coming back more often if they don't get felted every time they sit down.
Just my opinion and don't know how close those numbers are on the soft tables. Just throwing an example out there.

Re: Global Poker Improvement Thread

Put a lobby button on tournament and sit n go tables so you you don't have to manually go looking for the tournament on the main lobby. Its a pain searching for the tournament lobbies you want to see when you have multiple tournaments going on at once. A lobby button on the actual table will fix this and should be an easy fix.

In the lobby click on the tourny you want to search and right under the tabs that say "Players, Tables Payouts, Blinds" is a search player bar.

You can click into any tourny lobby now to check and see it. Hope this helps.

Thanks.

A player search across all tournaments would be good.

He's talking about the format, not the actual amount (i.e., the software won't show 0s if it is the second digit)
