You're very welcome and good luck! Thanks to everybody else for the bolded part as lagtight said. I will be playing them again as well starting tonight.

Anybody think the hyper turbo 6 max sng 7% rake is too high? I would like it to be lowered before I play again.

I believe that 5% rake is "standard" in hypers. Having said that, the soft field probably more than offsets the higher rake.

I cannot see how the softer field would give you a 2% edge lol. The edge is small and variance is high. Maybe I am just not that good lol. The guys playing high stake is profiting, I guess it is doable.

I think Jared is referencing something also called a change log or release notes.

The idea being Global would tell us what the fixes were and features added in the maintenance windows. Then we would be able to check it and give feedback of "Yep, it looks good well done" or "Nope, its actually worse" or something in the middle.

How about some bounty tournaments, and progressive bounty tournaments.

ahh ok thanks, i was thinking he meant some kind of notes on players feature like I said above. I agree GP letting us know what changes they make after they make them would be good, obv they cant survey us before everything and that's probably a good thing for the most part.

I agree with that, I don't play hypers but some like the super small edge high variance large sample games. My suggestion is to just play the turbs and reg speed games.

Those of you guys who have wanted late registration are going to have to find something else to complain about.. LATE REGISTRATION IS HERE! The $250 guarantee which is 8:45 my time Mountain Standard Time had a 30 minute late registration.

Yeah that isn't my favorite for sure. I am curious how they will implement it. Hopefully they payed attention to how ACR did it, and won't do it that way.

One of the main reasons I play very little MTT's on ACR anymore. 3 & 5/hr late reg is absurd for online poker.

I've only played on global in the last 7 years. And I heard that ACR and some others have three hour late registrations but I didn't know about the 5-Hour. Anything more than one hour is ridiculous in my opinion.

Not a big fan of late reg myself.

I'm not a big fan of missing that big tournament by 30 seconds cause I was late getting home when I wasn't registered cause I was'nt sure if I could make it.

I'd be fine with a 15-30 minute late reg window.
02-18-2018 , 01:38 PM
re late reg - 30-60 mins is ok with the way the games are structured now and here's why. Most mtt's on GP are structured to be similar to local live small buy in mtts in the 20-100$ range. The closest card room to my place does late reg for an hr but the bubble isn't for at least another 2, sometimes 4 hrs. The kind of live players we want to be playing against expect a bit of late reg and it's good for everybody. I feel the community is paranoid about late reg from what WPN has done with it and the overall damage they have done to the USA market but they're separate issues.

Late reg is good for rec players 30-60 mins, and terrible and extremely rec player unfriendly if left open any longer. Re entries are also horribad for rec players please don't do that GP
02-18-2018 , 02:02 PM
Yeah WPN late reg is absurd. 5 hours on a $5 tourney so they don't have to pay overlay on a $1k guarantee... raise the prices or lower the GT already.

Agreed, 30 minute would be ok but def no more than an hour and yes... NO re-entries

The best part of not having late reg is you can finish a tournament in under 4 hrs, even if you win it or get to heads-up. A 30-min late reg hopefully won't change that, but if tournaments start taking well over 4 hrs, I'm probably going to try something else.

I don't think a 30 min late reg is going to make the 2-3 hour tournaments much longer.

The only tourneys that run that long now are the $5 mega donks like the $5/4k gtd rebuy

Such a spew fest

Spew fest...True that. I placed 4th 2nd time I played it and that was right at 4.5 hours, it probably ended around 5/hrs.

I must be confused how the late reg works. I thought I late reg'd a tourney last night, but that doesn't seem to be a possibility today.

Anyone else having issues with tournaments not showing up on Sharkscope? Played the 8:00pm Daily $4,000 Guaranteed $5 rebuy. Took 6th for $355 and it is not showing up. no help from sharkscope after several emails.

It's probably been said, but it really sucks to not be able to see a players hole cards when they open their hand because the table resize buttons are blocking their card(s) as they are sitting in the top left of a 6 max table...

Then you can't see their cards in the dealer chat box because you are 4-tabling, tiled, on a 30 inch monitor(silly, you think you can read text that small, impossible!)... so you increase the table size to 9 million pixels because: no chat unless the table is like 90% of your monitor... click on dealer and see that the for some reason it's stuck on top, showing the first hand of the tournament... so you try to scroll down to see what he had and the window doesn't scroll, you press the little up arrow and make it bigger, but still it doesn't really move, just kinda shakes, and it's impossible so you give up after a minute...

But wait!! I'll just check the hand history... wait... what? No hand history in tournaments!?

Great, I saw one card, know if I won or lost the hand (cuz i can see dem chips), and can see the strength of his had (i.e. pair, straight) as it states under his name. Fun.

I'ts kind of important to be able to see the tabled cards. Can we make them always visible/make the resize buttons transparent or move them?

Can we please have chat/dealer viewable at 4 or 6 or 12 tiled tables? Please.

Hand histories at least in-game for tournaments? Please.

thanks

I 6-table (tiled) on a 17.5 inch laptop monitor and I see everything fine honestly. Yes, the chat won't work when doing that....but chat can be distracting, so it's better off.

I don't know about the hand histories. I know what they are doing now helps keep HUD's off of the site, so I'm with GP on that stance.
