Since you're clearly missing something here - Bodog and Bovada are the same network. If you're a Canadian citizen, you could join Bodog and have access to the same games as Bovada....so why would a Canadian citizen need to buy a Bovada account?

Hodler is suggesting it might be because you're not a Canadian citizen after all...but then how are you on Global?

Why is auto top off capped at 95bb? Having to click multiple times to keep my stack at 100bb is incredibly obnoxious. There also seems to be a bug where all animations are removed if a table is minimized.

NLH runs great here but PLO doesn't.

PLO isn't as rake friendly and with options, this is not a place to pick for PLO, also considering that the opponents are above average tight on this site and I wouldn't recommend it for recreational players (they probably come and go pretty fast, though). I don't play here because I have a ton of options but for abroad play, I was considering this.

A site is full of nitty US players (they have had that style for some years now on other sites also) and good players from countries that are not free to play at most other sites.

No free HUD for PLO available and any new serious player entering NLH has a database of your stats when he enters.

can we get some synced breaks regardless of start time for the tournament?

So, have any improvements been made based on player suggestions? What are they!?

Global Poker is Requiring Verification (and actively suggesting you send them license photos...perhaps another story...) when I did all that when I joined the site. Thus, they must have lost their database. So, was it stolen...and by who...or did they accidentally erase it. Either way, this extra validation has convinced me to take a break from their site for awhile.

ok I don't know if anyone else is aware of this bug, but it's happened to me multiple times.

First, I will sometimes accidently hit the "fold" button when I have the option to check. I then get a dialogue box asking me if I actually meant to fold. First, this is ****ing stupid. Please stop doing this. No one wants to fold when they don't have to. This however, is besides the point. When I go to click "cancel" to the "are you sure you want to fold" dialogue box, sometimes global will randomly CLOSE a random table, for seemingly no reason, it just auto exits me out of a table. (and it's always a completely different table than the one I accidently hit "fold" on.) Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Yeah I have had that happen too. Thankfully you don't get immediately booted like you might from some other sites, but it's still very annoying

This is easily the worst poker site in terms of software and design , it raises so many questions as too who is running this **** show. just bad idea after bad idea compounded and doubled down.

OMFG , with the pop up about how much i won or lost and if i want to keep playing. when you accidentally click the wrong button it closes your ****ing table out. how can you not see its better to have a player sit out so they can leave the table if the choose to not by an accidental button click. .

Im pretty good about not tilting these days but getting raped by this pop up window has put me on old school 1c/2c ranging monkey tilt. i had to stop my session and go for a run .

Judging by the lack of responses from global mods i can only imagine this is a pump and dump , but get it while ya can i guess.

Also the mods deleted some posts i had about global ( possibly) not cashing out players from NY and FL . it is in there TOS specifically stating they dont cash out over 5k from single events ( like jackpot sit n goes and tourney scores) if your in either state. so buyer beware.

Crashes last night and players missing funds. Pretty decent overlay in the 50k.

Wow it's like the site isn't growing and traffic is way down and the players are completely ignored. Doing the opposite of growing. Shrinking.

Happens to me all the time. Multiple times per day. If you are lucky enough to remember the table name, and open it before the hand ends and a new one is dealt, you'll still be seated.

Sometimes it also happens to me when I'm topping up my chips, if I hit cancel after pressing buy, so i can see the screen while the hand plays out. Since the auto-top up is buggy and doesn't always function.

I guess no one at Global Poker is actually reading this, but if they are here's a good idea. Make an option to purchase or even offer tournaments to win a custom usable avatar of yourself. I like the style of the avatars on the site but it gets tiring to see the same 20 everywhere. I'd definitely pay $50 for a custom avatar both to use on the website and it'd be a cool caricature to have.

Can someone please tell Global Poker to adjust their "deep stack" tournament structure. As it stands it is deep for the first hour but then the blinds start doubling into ridiculousness and it becomes another all-in hyper turbo fest very quickly. In the current Eagle "deep stack" tourney I started to notice the lack of deepness when I was ranked 5th out of 45 left an hour and 30 minutes in but only was sitting about 23 BB "deep." Needless to say, there is practically no post-flop poker being played.

Alright a few lucky double ups later I am now currently ranked #2/29 but still only 50 BB deep. So me and the 1st place guy are sort of deep but we're just playing an all in or fold fest for the most part with the average stacking being 1/3rd mine.

Now that the site is actually changing things, trying things, etc. maybe get a new thread? Even if it is similar to this one which is just a trash bin with "suggestions" written on it...

Are some of these changes really that hard/expensive to make happen? I don't understand why they ignore this whole thread. It's free feedback on how to make your product better! Can anyone at 2p2 bring this stuff up? You have at least some kind of relationship with decision makers there, right?
